I hope your 1st seat first clarinet is better live. I'm in seventh grade, playing 1st clarinet second seat, and I sound better than him.

You guys did pretty well. I mean, with only a months practice, it was ok. I played the clarinet for 7 years when I was in school... wait, that was only a little more than a year ago! lol Anyway, the clarinets need to have rehersals by themselves so they can work on blending better; that's what we had to do, and it REALLY helped. I also understand about having bad sound on a cafeteria stage and on the video recorder. Keep working on it... esp. the trumpets!

Look..I've heard a lot of Toccatta pieces...and this one by far is one of the better ones...cuz the tempo is right on yeah okay so all ya hear is clarinets, well duh, its obvious that the camera is right in front of them!! HELLO TBONE? the cam is pickin them up first! ok ok i agree clarinets kinda harsh, some squeaks, blah blah...but theyz still kept up with the tempo..oh yeah brass, you guys were awesome!!!

Reality check: on a tiny cafeteria stage plus camcorder right in front of clarinets = lousy acoustics and poor sound quality and ok...we needed way more rehearsals on this one.

@treasured17 My school played this song in a gymnasium and it sounds way!!! better than this especially specialize the clarinets.

Way faster than the conductor preped, and that clarinet dude right there played like he was tryin' to kill something(mass squeekige). I didn't like the snare too much either. We did this one too, and honestly, I didn't like this at all. Alot of times they weren't together. I don't know... yeah, the snare rushed in that great retard at ohh, measure 96 maybe, I can't remember. The vibrados in high woodwind were really rough and they weren't in tune very well either. I'm out of typing space

i think it sounded really good except for a couple of things first clarinet theres a thing called dynamics ya guess what use it cause u made it sound bad also when u played that high note at largo well omg dont way to loud and was the only thing u heard like seriously and i think yall need more balance in yalls band cause the main section u hear is the clarinets but nice job

and im being very giving on this trust u dont want me to say what i really think cause i might make one of yall cry
