This is a truly remarkable musical collabration between the East and West. Placido Domingo singing a Korean lyric song with near perfect pronunciation. The song represents Korean people's yearning for the unification of their homeland by singing about the Diamond mountain left behind in the North. Bravo maestro Domingo, Hei-Kyung Hong and Mr. Youn! Thank you very much for posting this fantastic video and the two verses in Korean. Until today, I did not know the full meaning of this song.
But as I saw New York philharminy, I wanted to say this interesting thing: North Korea opend a little bit its door for the rest of the world and for "capitalistic dragon" :)

It`s song of Korea.
The song name is "그리운 금강산" by Korean or The good old keum-kang Mountain by english.
You can find the song 그리운 금강산 from Youtube.

그리운 금강산 is pronounced as "griwoon geum-gang-san".
Geum gang mountain is located in North Korea. so all of south korean miss the mountain. because they cannot go there easily.
