I'm kind of scared... Whenever I do this stretch with my Swiss ball, I always feel a kind of pain in what I believe is my heart when I sit up. Is that normal? I'm really worried =/
@Sylphadora I don't think it's that normal by the sound of it, you should stop doing this until you can check with your doctor, anything that causes heart pain could be a problem for you.
Thanks for the reply!! ;-) Since you were kind enough to give me an advice, I should bring you up to date. I did go to the doctor and in the end it was all fine =) It's just that I had started exercising regularly after living a mostly sedentary life and it was a body reaction. The pain went away really quickly and I didn't even had to take the painkillers the doctor prescribed to me.
I am a beginner in working out and I have been doing push ups lately. I was wondering what kind of exercise on the ball I can do that works the muscles opposing those working during the push up.
for most muscle groups one should warm up before streching. however do you recommend stretching the abs like in this video first before do ab work?. Thanks
I use the ball as in this video after doing ab work (mostly leg raises and incline sit ups), not before doing ab work. The back bend over the ball becomes a welcome counter-pose to the forward bending of most ab exercises.
Hi, why i feel pain in my back muscles when i am trying to stretch in this way, maybe i strained my muscles doing abs workout on swizz ball?
Now doing week of an i feel normal.. thanks
