yea both are great! but i feel the m3 while it has a little less horse power and torque it also is a little lighter and has better turning on a time attack track! streight line i give it to the isf, theres so much more you can do to it than the m3 ... and i find it a little more ascetically pleasing !

The IS-f is one majestic beast. Love the bulldog bulbous face. Future IS-f's will place a huge amount of pressure on the future m3's. Gotta hand it to Lexus for engaging the germans in close combat and doing so well.

Watch top gear's stop on the two rivals....I just recently bought me the m3 coupe and Im absoutely in love (it sucks in the winter so its sitting in the garage for the meantime, it snows a lot in utah)..I drove both cars and altho the lexus is a nice car, it cost 2K more than the m3, it had slighly LESS performance and was just not as much of an eye catcher, it had more bodyroll, and i think the M3 was just a better quality vehicle....just my opinion

actually I own the isf and it has virtually no body roll whatsover...I have no idea what you are talking about. Also...the 8 gears are amazing...great gas mileage on the highway and it shifts perfectly. I love the M3 but the ISF is up there. Dontr forget this is lexus first attempt at battling the M3 and it is doing a hell of a job.

really....LS400 is a sports car...dumbasss....lexuses aren't built for punishment....if you drive them like grandmas they are fairly problem free, if you punish them they fall apart....and dont even begin to argue against the E46 M3...all companies know that it is one of the best, if not the best sports car of all time.

really....there is no connection between sportness & "punishment"! it's like saying the 7series is a real drivers' car but you can't drive it like a real driver!....dumbasss....i've been driving LS400 for 8 years.. alongside my supra turbo at the time, all the difference i felt is the lexus is more comfortable and a little heavier, i used to be agressive with both, other than spark plugs and brake pads etc regular changes.. all is well.

GT-R and IS-F are 2 different cars, the lexus is a potent all motor engine with an amazing 8 speed tranmission, the GT-R is an enlarged 350z motor with twin turbos, any company can make power with turbos.
