I saw the song coincidently on vh1, and you're all right about it being a beautyfull song. But isn't it also expressing the state of apathy? The worst state a person can experience!

@internalpeaceseeker finally someone commentet. It,s impossible to explain apathy to people who hasn,t experienced it themselves. And eventhough I've been in the state too, we wouldn't be able to explain eachother how it "feels"! But the lyrics, is probably the closest you get to an explaination.
