skyrim was horribly incomplete upon it's release, and still is. It is basically Oblivion 2. I hoped for better, not that oblivion was bad, but the previous problems remain in Skyrim, it's nothing too new IMO.
I got Dark Souls on release day and had no problems with it, other than getting owned repeatedly as I learned to play the game :)

Hey Bro where you ask in the video if it might not even be worth messing with Blacksmithing b/c you can just get better items that is true, but if you do mess with it you can get armor alot earlier on if you make it rather than waiting for it to drop from enemies/chests and you also have to consider that the best armor in the game which is Daderic (best light is dragonscale) has only dropped for me one time and im level 47... and also with max BSing you can improve armor and weapons to about 2x

It's all politics really, for what matters the Nords are some huge racists religious group of people leaded by an angry guy with an axe that stunned a boy and killed him while he was on the floor and the empire is just a puppet in the hands of the Thalmor.
They pretty much are both "good", the real evil are the Thalmor. In the end they all sucks and bethesda should let the player get in a third "alone" faction like they did in fallout new vegas.
More than likely, you've contracted some sort of a disease. Use a cure disease potion or activate one of the altars in a temple. That should solve your problem.
Riften will be a good place to be sneaky and stealing shit by joining the Thieves Guild, however being stealthy and killing people is the Dark Brotherhood. You can gain the quest to join them by going to Windhelm and learning about someone trying to contact the Dark Brotherhood. Hope this helps!

Nice vid Epic, but I kind of feel weird about your comments. It seems you don't know what you want and have not read any sort of Elder Scrolls material at all. I mean you MUST of heard SOMETHING before getting it. Like "it's kinda like Fallout" or "it's a sandbox RPG". Sandbox RPG alone would mean exploration, long parts without nothing really happening, etc... Like that logical thinking. Of course he doesn't need to say the obvious... but hey, some people are pretty darn slow and still miss it.
Hey epic, what class did you choose I didn't really get to see since you skipped most of it, I'm trying to think of a good magic race class because the meelee doens't seem too exciting.
@Serpazil I picked a wood elf, which isn't the best for magic. Basically, it doesn't make much difference except at the very beginning. It seems like it gives you a headstart if you choose a matching race, but I would focus on cosmetics / RP factor first, and then worry about effectiveness. I took a Wood Elf for the bow skill, but it could have been any race.

How can you go from playing dark souls this this piece of crap? Most of the game mechanics haven't changed in 10 years! Combat in this game consists of either trading blows or backpedaling madly. The story telling is awful too. Skyrim focuses on nothing hoping you won't notice anything. It was cool in morrowind when it was original, but now bethesda is just relying on you to buy their old trash. I'm sure a much better open-ended game could be made; skyrim sucks elephant cock

@EpicNameBro yea it is if you are low level, i didnt stumble across it till bout 20-30 level range myself. its by the river near markarth. if you really wanna look for some interesting sign stones you can go with the ones like the tower sign, which makes it so you can pretty much unlock any lock expert or lower. another cool sign is the steed sign, which makes your armor weigh nothing and your carry capacity is increased. experiment and see watcha like best.

Also if you want rolls/dodges go into stealth i think. I know you should not have to, but its the best way I can cope. Dodging is meant for the lighter classes anyway [in this game].
@EpicNameBro eldar scrolls games are hard to lp, unless your viewers are hardcore eldar scrolls fans you might find that alot of your dark souls fan base get bored watching 40 minuites of wandering around, especialy if theyre coming right off the back of your dark souls vids where you cut it depending on the circumstances, honestly though, do what feels right man, loving the skyrim footage so far though bro, much love.

@EpicNameBro But Bro, 48mins is far too long for ANY vid, especially for a game where a majority of the time NOTHING happens at all. Editing out the exploration parts would defeat the purpose tho, since that's one of the main draws of the game, even if it's not very interesting to watch.
What might work better is halfing the vid lengths to around 15-20 mins, so that ppl don't have to load and sit thru such a long vid, and they can pick and choose which EP they want to watch. It worked for DkS.
@JapanForSale Basically my plan is to make a video for each quest. Some will be around 20 mins, some will be longer. For the long videos, I will put a shortcut index so people can skip around easily. Honestly, I've been hearing more good things than complaints about the video length. I dunno.
In the end, I just think that some people will want to skip the Skyrim vids. It's cool with me, of course... I totally understand if people who only like DkS don't want to watch Skyrim.

@MajorCholoReyes Ranged and magic is fun... melee combat feels really cheap to me. I think pretty much everyone that played DkS agrees on that one. No parries, roll dodges, etc. It feels like FPS melee. But I don't think that's the game's focus, so it's no problem!
@EpicNameBro i played DkS i know what you mean with the parry n stuff, but when you upgrade blocking and one hand or 2 hand, you can shield bash which staggers them, so its like a parry, do one hit kills etc, so if you level your combat stats up more itll feel better, but i also use the bow for ranged combat so its all good. and yeah the game is more focused on exploration. keep up these vids man they great. btw how did you pick up/move the dead bodies?
@EpicNameBro Yeah, I do agree. However like someone else said, if you use a shield and parry (bash) their power attack, they stagger giving you a higher chance to perform a deathblow. I think that the combat in Dark Souls was rather boring once you got your technique down though. Parry riposte for mobs, and dodge circle backstab for non parryable people. Really enjoyed your DkS playthrough though and I'm sure I'll enjoy this!
@EpicNameBro Hey epic! love your vids! anyhow, the melee combat gets alot better, especially if you invest perks in one-handed/ two handed. You cat do 4 different types of strong attack along with your light attack, you can paralyze opponents and decapitate them too! check out the one or two handed skill tree for details. also there or backstabs and throat cutting for those interested in stealth its badass! Melee is definitely a huge part of the game and worth investing perks in.
@EpicNameBro oh also melee critical finishing moves give you sweet slow mo, third person views of your kill with different finishers depending on which weapon/weapons (if your dual weilding) you use.
I enjoyed your dark souls play thoroughly and I am looking forward to see what you have to share with Skyrim. Perhaps as an idea if you encounter puzzles or interesting areas you can share them with us.

Dude if you want stealth, the join the Dark Brotherhood. You're actually an assassin in that group. In Oblivion, Dark Brotherhood had the best quests but in Skyrim, they're not as great... still good though
I havent played Skyrim yet but I have played ESIV and Fallout. The combat will obviously never reach the depth and precision of Dark Souls, but as you level your attributes, the combat can get a little deeper and funner.
Also, I think the fun of Oblivion to me was just that you could have a very different story everytime you play through it. Unless two people strictly ran through the story as a similar build character, their playthroughs would be vastly different. You can retrieve arrows btw

Yeah, this game is very very easy. It's not about the challenge, it's about exploring, mostly, and just kind of enjoying the world. As long as you keep that in mind, I think you'll like it. It's fun to just wander aimlessly, in this game--I enjoy it.

In Oblivion (Elder Scrolls IV) weapons and armors you created were pretty much the best things in the game. Hopefully there's something different about that in Skyrim

Also if you want rolls/dodges go into stealth i think. I know you should not have to, but its the best way I can cope. Dodging is meant for the lighter classes anyway [in this game].

@EpicNameBro eldar scrolls games are hard to lp, unless your viewers are hardcore eldar scrolls fans you might find that alot of your dark souls fan base get bored watching 40 minuites of wandering around, especialy if theyre coming right off the back of your dark souls vids where you cut it depending on the circumstances, honestly though, do what feels right man, loving the skyrim footage so far though bro, much love.

@EpicNameBro i didnt mean skyrim was a bad choice, i recommended you play it way back when you were starting dark souls lol ninja gaiden huh? your really into punishing yourself with really challenging games arent you lol, id recommend turning the difficulty up on skyrim by the way, its way more tactical in how you play it once you do that, and if your really wanting a challenge id also recommend the new hitman on the hardcore setting.

@EpicNameBro But Bro, 48mins is far too long for ANY vid, especially for a game where a majority of the time NOTHING happens at all. Editing out the exploration parts would defeat the purpose tho, since that's one of the main draws of the game, even if it's not very interesting to watch.
What might work better is halfing the vid lengths to around 15-20 mins, so that ppl don't have to load and sit thru such a long vid, and they can pick and choose which EP they want to watch. It worked for DkS.

@JapanForSale Basically my plan is to make a video for each quest. Some will be around 20 mins, some will be longer. For the long videos, I will put a shortcut index so people can skip around easily. Honestly, I've been hearing more good things than complaints about the video length. I dunno.
In the end, I just think that some people will want to skip the Skyrim vids. It's cool with me, of course... I totally understand if people who only like DkS don't want to watch Skyrim.

@EpicNameBro Now that I've gone thru this whole vid, I'm thinking you can just do whatever length vids you want, bro. Just your commentary alone was enough to keep my interest thru out the entire vid, and I've already gone thru this part of the game 3 times.
All the ideas up there are still good tho: indexing, partitioning according to quests, etc. At this point, I'll pretty much watch anything you put up. :P

Internet here is slower than a snail and it also tends to time out. That makes loading long videos kinda hard... :)

@MajorCholoReyes Ranged and magic is fun... melee combat feels really cheap to me. I think pretty much everyone that played DkS agrees on that one. No parries, roll dodges, etc. It feels like FPS melee. But I don't think that's the game's focus, so it's no problem!

@EpicNameBro i played DkS i know what you mean with the parry n stuff, but when you upgrade blocking and one hand or 2 hand, you can shield bash which staggers them, so its like a parry, do one hit kills etc, so if you level your combat stats up more itll feel better, but i also use the bow for ranged combat so its all good. and yeah the game is more focused on exploration. keep up these vids man they great. btw how did you pick up/move the dead bodies?

@EpicNameBro Yeah, I do agree. However like someone else said, if you use a shield and parry (bash) their power attack, they stagger giving you a higher chance to perform a deathblow. I think that the combat in Dark Souls was rather boring once you got your technique down though. Parry riposte for mobs, and dodge circle backstab for non parryable people. Really enjoyed your DkS playthrough though and I'm sure I'll enjoy this!

@EpicNameBro Hey epic! love your vids! anyhow, the melee combat gets alot better, especially if you invest perks in one-handed/ two handed. You cat do 4 different types of strong attack along with your light attack, you can paralyze opponents and decapitate them too! check out the one or two handed skill tree for details. also there or backstabs and throat cutting for those interested in stealth its badass! Melee is definitely a huge part of the game and worth investing perks in.

Dude if you want stealth, the join the Dark Brotherhood. You're actually an assassin in that group. In Oblivion, Dark Brotherhood had the best quests but in Skyrim, they're not as great... still good though

I havent played Skyrim yet but I have played ESIV and Fallout. The combat will obviously never reach the depth and precision of Dark Souls, but as you level your attributes, the combat can get a little deeper and funner.
Also, I think the fun of Oblivion to me was just that you could have a very different story everytime you play through it. Unless two people strictly ran through the story as a similar build character, their playthroughs would be vastly different. You can retrieve arrows btw

Yeah, this game is very very easy. It's not about the challenge, it's about exploring, mostly, and just kind of enjoying the world. As long as you keep that in mind, I think you'll like it. It's fun to just wander aimlessly, in this game--I enjoy it.
Anywho, I'm glad you're playing other stuff. Why would you just play dark souls, all the time? Anyone who expects that of you is stupid.

@YuMmmmmmmify hehe, yeah, button fail. I would have made wait a menu option, stealth select, L3 dash, and used L2 as a modifier key to give access to more spells / items on the fly. You'll see me have some serious button fails in the next vid! But I'll get used to it eventually.
