Although I don't believe in God, I believe those kids and teachers are so brave and strong to be able to push through. And the 12 that died were amaing for standing for they're beliefs... even if it cost they're lives.
There's a video on youtube of officials dragging a body, thought to be Rachel Scott. Rachel is in this video @2:47, already dead. The kids run past her.
Very nice with the survivors of Columbine speaking their minds too. Makes the picture of this tragedy much clearer and greater then too when putting all the pieces together. :-)
A very sad happening, though... Although God sure were protecting and saving many lives, still it is sad that some lives were taken, also the lives of the killers, they were also as precious like everyone else.
alot of ppl say that they wud say yes, but wen they actualy hav a gun pressed 2 ther head they back out....wat cassie did was amazing + now ther trying 2 prove God had nothin 2 do w/ any of it [wich in mi opinion is stupid cuz ther just pullin up all dis athiest crap now in 2010]
Jesus died for us, he didn't have a problem. Therefore, I think when someone asks us if we believe in God, we say yes! If he died for me, I can die for him. I will stay with God until the end! R.I.P Cassie and Rachel and the other 11 Columbine victims! If you have not read Rachel's Tears yet, I strongly advise you to read it. It was very inspirational!
no offense because im with you all the way but you say r.i.p why? because thier not dead thier living eternally w/ god there is no reason to say thier dead when thier more alive than ever!
God is great and Cassie was/is a hero it would be hard to say yes in life or death situations you would be scared it seemes like duh you'd say yes but you'd never know until your in that situation. I pray I'd have the courage to say yes.
@mrsjeenaklebold99 Art teacher. She was near the west entrance, grazed by a bullet and ran to the nearest room, which was the library where she made her 911 call.
These guys had so much ammunition to take almost everyone but as u c they took out a few ppl but not every single person it lets u know that evil will never win it as it will happen to the whole world soon every human will have to answer to God in Judgment day
The book was good. God bless all of the children and teachers who went out of their way to help others. And God Bless the family of Cassie her story has changed my life. <3
she truelly is an inspiration! i only hope that if i was ever to be put in this terrible situation i would have the courage it must have taken her to say yes. rest in paradise cassie x
I remembering watching "She Said Yes" in my summer camp. I was about 12 or 13 and I cried for days. I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that there were people in the world who could do something like this to another human being. This story helped me open my eyes a lot and it helped me get closer to God. Even though the years have gone past, I pray for Cassies family because I know no amount of time will close the gap that she once filled.
She is such a blessing. She was put on this earth for a purpose, not knowing that when she did leave the world, her purpose will live on forever. but i feel as if we shouldnt act as if she is an angel herself. because the only thing we worship is God. (: But Cassie is a major impact and is still loved till this day and forever will be.
just wait and watch for few a little while longer every believer will be resurrected in paradise hope you believe in Christ before its too late.........If not you know how its going to end (hell FYI) illl pray for you
I read the book and it was amazing. I'm glad Cassie was a Christian, and so am I and she is one of my role models. Her earlier life wasn't too good but she patched things up and I'm sure she would have become a remarkable woman.
her death is so sad i dnt know her and im about to cry and i heard that people that weren't even knew her or were the same school or state were comming to her funeral and crying like that was her sister may cassie rest in peice and always be loved!
casie bernall you haved insipered my life every time i think about this i just cry and now you insiperd me to get more involed with christ and i just want to thank you so much
her story has made me change i use to not go to chruch but now i do i have had thoughts of suicde but no i relize that when go wants me he will talke me she died for wat she belived in and she is very stong person and one of the people i will now look up to in my life and pray for she will always be loved and remeber R.I.P Cassie bernall and forever be loved
I saw this movie in school today, and i damn near cried... I read the book first and you can really understand more of her story. But still, this is freakin horrible. Just wow cause i'm still practically in shock...
She wasn't that much older than me either so i'm just like crap that could happen in my high school..
Just wish it wouldn't have been Cassie, although now, she's in a much better place
My friends and i made this whole song about her, damn it i feel so bad about it all:(
Cassie Bernall was an amazing girl and is an angel in disguise i have read the book and even though she had a rough patch in her life, (all of us have) she is an example to all of us. Humams have to stick together and stand up for what they belive. Cassie is only phisically dead, but if you read the comments, you will see that she has lives on in the lives of various people around this world. Cassie was an amazing girl, and she was loved and is missed.
I Agree With You 110%. Cassie Was Such An Amazing Person, Even Though Her Young Life Was Cut Short. Also Rachel Joy Scott, Oh My Lord Her Name Just Wow, It Really Tells You How Great Of A Person Rachel Was. May They Rest In Peace Forever And One Day Maybe Some Of Us Will Meet Cassie And Rachel In Heaven.
she inspired all of us never forget that

I'm terrified of public shootings. They're my biggest fear.
One reason is because I am Atheist and I would HAVE to say "No." if I was asked that and the shooter would be religious and shoot me.
