If anyone has any cutural problems towards these commercials, please stop being so ignorant. This has nothing to do with American English vs. Brazilian culture. These TV ads are meant for young Brazilians, not for the rest of us. And they're working as CCAA is doing very well. Stop with the sanctimonious crap. The hardest group in the world to get excited about language is teenage and young men and CCAA is doing a great job getting them in and making them smarter people. Well done.

For those of you English natives:

As you can see the Brazilian kids don't know English at all.

The parachute word phonetics resemble two words in Portuguese:

"para" is like "for" in English. "for you" becomes "para você" in Portuguese.

"chute" is like "kick" in English "kick the ball" becomes "chute a bola" in Portuguese.

So, when they hear "parachute" and "go go go", they understand "to kick" those things (the pair of parachutes) into the "goal"!

And they do it! :-(
