  • There is a place in Hyderabad India by name Pista house which has been cooking haleem since 100 years and they make it in a completely different style.Their haleem is damn tasty.I am not trying to judge u here but I am just saying that maybe there r different ways of cooking this haleem.Maybe ur haleem tastes different and good.

  • All the businesses are based on profit. You will always find haleem much yellower in shops. itna mehenga gosht aur garam malala kaun dale ga ? ye ho naheen sakta ke yeh 2 cheezain yellow ho jaeen. This is traditional recipe of haleem, I cannot make changes to it. Its good or not I cannot say anything about it.

  • @Bajiascooking U r mistaking me.I am a half muslim and half hindu but I dont know anything abt muslim traditions.I was just keeping u informed abt how things r here.My mother is a muslim but i dont know anything abt these traditions.I was just telling u how it was in India.I admitted already that ur haleem might be tasty and different.Anyways cheers.

  • my family loves haleem i dont. recipes have changed so rapidly in last few years that no one knows what the real thing was. I was so disappointed when I visited Pakistan last. Thanks for liking my channel, food have no boundaries. good luck cooking

  • @dheer1231 I made according to this recipe multiple times and its the best haleem ive had. I've tasted the pista house haleem and it is really not that good. Their haleem had burnt spices and too much of it. Infact the haleem i had in delhi is much better than the pista house one. But this is by far the better one, maybe because it was home cooked

  • Sister . Please Note : Haleeem Allah kay 99 namon main say aik name hay or Sorah Baqarah main 3 bar is ka zikar bhi hay please urud main Haleem ko DALEEM kahtay hain . JazakAllah

  • please contact FIROZULLUGHAT so they could make changes as well !

  • @Bajiascooking good suggestion

  • aap ka taaluq kis mulk aur sheher say hay?

  • @roohraazi pakistan karachi

  • bbaz jagah ke lamb main boo hai, her jagah ke naheen. ager hamak aati hai to deakh lo. waise kafi strong hoti hai haleem aaneto naheen jahiye. gosht to thora sa he hota hai.

  • AOA,Baji i know my bombay style haleem with ammis recipe its also great i just love haleem,i live in saudi arabia here i tasted pakistani n hyderabadi haleem both were wonderful,i ws searching for haleem recipe other than my own since long n samjhe ki aap se takra gayee aur khuda qasam maza aa gaya yor recipe is different and i know its gonna taste great,in our style haleem v use sabit wheat n daals jinhe halka halka danedar rakha jata hai gosht bhi botiyon ki shakl ,jazakallah fr this recipe

  • sabut gandum galaye kaun :) aur itna bareek pista thora he hai dane daar rehta hai. thanks for liking

  • This is yummy. Humme haleem 8 years ho gaye last khaake. Ek sawaal. Beef ko galne mein andaaz kitna wakht lagta hai ?

  • cooker per depend kerta hai, khoob sara pani daal ker 45 min tak rakh do pressure per.

  • i m male i m principal of a college and would u believe i m ur student............

  • i thoroughly enjoyed your comment :) I am honoured by your inclusion.

  • @roohraazi great

  • i cooked haleem twice with ur recipe and i am really amazed to have a real taste...... thanks a lot u made my life simple.

  • acha, great :)

  • You have some amazing recipes there.much love and respect from India.

  • thanks, good luck cooking

  • sorry to this is but in haleem u never put RICE and like u said haleem can not be made with other meat u r also wrong u can also make with other meat but the best taste is with beef so this is fail recipe

  • i saw them adding rice so i did. yes best is beef.

  • your husband must be some lucky guy!!

  • thanks :)

  • AOA Bajiya, I loveeeee ur recipesn do try them often. I refer to ur page especially when I don't know wot to cook every day :))). I wanted to ask u if the quantity u used to make haleem would make the amount of haleem u poured in the serving bowl? It's only me n my husband and I would like to make it for 4-5 persons. Shall I use the same quantity of the ingredients u used in the video? I know I can freeze the left over, but I only want to make one serving bowl as my hubby only eats fresh.

  • Its tastier when its old  make as much I have made, you will be looking for it next day surly. Its hard and messy job and if you change the quantity you might not get it right. Bohot naheen hai.

  • I made this haleem today for dinner - it was as good as haleem that I had at Haleem Ghar, a famous restaurant in Islamabad. I used 1kg of boneless beef, bulgur wheat, oats (not barley, and oats looked the same as what bajia showed in the video) and all the daals and rice as specified. I pressure cooked the meat for 25 mins, then after shredding it and mixing with the daals cooked it on low for over an hour. Great result. I also cut down a tiny bit on the garam masalas because I can't take too s

  • Great, you did very well! hard work :)

  • Hi Bajia,

Please tell me after mixing beef and daals, how long approximately do we need to cook it for? And over what heat - low, medium or high?

    Thanks

  • Medium heat, keep on mixing. Timings all depend on the consistency if all good and tick 15 min ok.

  • Few questions:

Can we use boneless beef for this recipe?

If not using pressure cooker for daals, how long should we cook it on stove?

Also what brand barley are you using - I'm also in Australia and checked at the supermarket but wasnt sure whether to get barley or oats.

    Thanks.

  • You can but add bones as well; they are available from the butcher. Barley is in cereals, any cheap one is good. Cook deals til soft and blend them in blender before adding into meat. Cooking time can vary.

  • salaam nice halim tutoring ! i tried it ....thanx

i have try ur recepie and everyone like it special haleem and gulab jamun

  • hard and messy job, isnt it ?

  • Baji pearl barley use kar saktain hain?

Aur whole wheat use kar saktay hain instead cracked wheat?

hamaray indian store may to sirf pearl barley aur whole wheat milta hai

  • pata naheen kiya hai wo ? aam super maket se barlely cereals main mile ga. doosra sabut gandum wheat koye naheen galni. wo he dhoondo jo main ne dali hai mile gi indian store se. dalya banate hain us ka.

  • Aunty yeh bata dein pls key ghost pressure cooker mien dal nay kay baad kitini dair pressure daina hai. thanks

  • Assalam alikum Bajia ji, app ka haleem buhut acha nazar araha hai,, leken colour thorasa dark hai, maine ek bar Islamabad ke ek restaurant main haleem kha yee thi oska colour etna dark nahi thi jetna ke ap ka hai,, koi-e idea hai ke osko kesa banaya tha?

  • asal hallem jo karachi ki serkon per raaton ko lerke banate, wo ye he thi. is main gosht ziyada hai, bazaar wale thori si masoor daal aur chana daal daal ker ooper se aata daal dete hain aur gosht kam. garam masale ki baja-a chaat ka masala. deakh lo garam masala to hai he sara kala.

  • why ur haleem turned in black colour it should be in yellowish colour looks like kali massor daal ...

  • today what they make is not what was called haleem basically.

Today for business porpoises they use less meat, more baisan for less work and thickening. Garam masala is replaced by chat masala to make it less costly.
