Why remake classics? It was a film of its time in one way (a boys camp rather then all children) and of our time in so many others. Why do we pander to only what people know today, the best way to learn lessons is from the past. As a girl watching it, it didn't worry me that it was a boy's camp, I understood that things were different then, but I did take away the amazing experience of understanding for the people by the people doesn't mean much if the general population aren't educated.
