@ds1868 I agree on the ressemblance between fundation stops from NDP and Gloucester. The difference, however, is on reeds. Quite big, unfortunately (an amateur as I am would not get fob). But very good reconstitution and rendering, anyway.
@voixhumaine The resemblence may be getting stronger voixhumaine! In July this year a new Trompette Harmonique, using domed French shallots, was added to the organ!
I also like the sign asking everyone not to smoke! I gather also that PC was particularly fond of the 'Famous Grouse', and always kept a bottle hidden in the Tribune. I wonder how many other resident organists keep 'provisions' hidden away like this?!
@ds1868 - Reminds me of an organ in Newcastle-Under-Lyme in Staffordshire, which has a spring-loaded drawstop entitled "Tibia Liquida". This opens the door to a drinks cabinet at the top of the stop jamb!
This is weird. This sounds almost like Notre Dame, with PC at the console. Great stuff, more please! (with the recently added 32' Bombarde, defintely more please!)
PIty they got rid of the original tuba. It might sound a bit out of place on today's organ though... It does sound good at All Saints' Margaret Street!

FANTASTIC! Who needs a chamade in those choruses? Such great weight in the playing, as if there's the pulsing of barker levers. LOVELY!!

Well this is a really good transcription I must say, and a piece perfectly befitting of this grand organ.
Wonderful job as always Mr Ball.

Thanks very much! Such fun to play. Pity Gloucester doesn't have big chamades tho...

Its alright, the organist is what made up for that. =D
Oh and by the way I posted this video in my guild just a second ago, I hope you don't mind. You can see it if you go straight in there.
