  • I have a glass piece blown by Mr. Powell. I bought it from the son of a personal friend of his, when I attended the University of Kentucky in 1997. He was given the piece as a birthday present and sold it to me when Mr. Powell gave him a new glass piece to use. it's priceless to me.

  • Was at an opening exibit of his at the Janice Mason Art Museum in Cadiz KY and I can't believe how amazing his work is.I have never seen anything like it.He has a great talent!!

  • Beautiful pieces!

  • They are even more impressive when seen in person. The team creating the pieces often experiences a disappointing breakage in the process.

  • @TennesseeAquarium

being a large scale glassblower myself, lemme tell ya, its enough to make you sob and question your sanity sometimes, but when it all works... its so worth it

  • Very cool! Hope this will still be there when we visit in October!

  • The Powell Works will be here when you visit in October. They are spectacular.
