Foley made the smartest decission when he chose to not extend his commentator role contract on WWE's SD! & instead joined TNA where he would be further his legacy, open new doors & revisit old ones (with Sting for eg) and ultimately avoid the Tazz factor, otherwise known as old washed up has been commentator.
As for TNA the only way they could use Foley is if he joins forces with Sting as the new version of the Millionaires club vs New Blood rising & does what he does best, put talent over.

It all depends on what you like. If you want to sit through 10 minutes of headlocks, punches, and stomps, then watch WWE. If you want to see good technical wrestling and high risk moves, watch TNA.

i watch both TNA and WWE at this time. however, both companies are not doing so well at this time. WWE going PG and going soft and limiting wrestling moves and limiting violence and focusing less on in-ring talent is the wrong move. His career never drained down anywhere. He's a prolific writer and he's one of the true brilliant minds off the ring in the entire sports entertainment.
Not to mention he is a true hardcore legend YEARS before he was ever on the WWF/WWE. WWE was just pure fluff for Foley. He's returning to his roots with a more indie-style promotion.

Anyone who thinks the WRESTLING in WWE is better than TNA, are brainwashed by Vince McMahon. You kids are just used to seeing a huge production and slow repetitive moves. Do yourself a favor, sit down with an open mind and REALLY watch TNA. The wrestling is on point, much better than the WWE. More high flying moves, less headlocks and punches.
Remember, TNA is NOT WCW.

I never said it was: I was mainly talking about the angles: The Ministry of Darkness was a ripoff of Raven in ECW, Stone Cold stole the beer drinking gimmick from Sandman (who started using that gimmick when Austin was still Stunning Steve in WCW) ECW had the first hardcore division, and WWE stole that idea.

i watch both TNA and WWE at this time. however, both companies are not doing so well at this time. WWE going PG and going soft and limiting wrestling moves and limiting violence and focusing less on in-ring talent is the wrong move. TNA needs to focus on bringing in their own talent and stop giving the former WWE people the big spotlight. TNA also needs to drop all these ever changing storylines and just showcase Total Nonstop Action like they used to.

If that'd how it works then how come Team 3D cant use their dudley boyz gimmick? It's because WWE owns the "Dudleyz" gimmick, it's a WWE trademark and WWE can only use it. WWE created Mankind so in other words, WWE owns the Mankind persona and Foley cant use Mankind in TNA. He can only use Cactus Jack and Dude Love, since Foley is the one who created it. It's trademark issues, use someones trademark and youre in huge trouble.

But when they came to WWE, the then WWF and ECW had some sort of partnership and Team 3D was allowed to use the Dudley name in WWE, but, on 2003, WWE completly aquired ECW so now, anything that belongs to ECW back then now belongs to WWE. Now, do you understand why Mick Foley cant be Mankind again?
