A quick wikipedia search turned up the following sentence on your Wardenclyffe Tower "The core facility was never fully operational and was not completed due to economic problems."

The fact that it wasn't complete and wasn't fully operational kinda disproves that it was the first internet since it didn't work... Perhaps if it was completed and another person connected and information was shared that would be the case, but really it sounds like you're trying to take away credit where it's due..
