It was taken by an investigation team (I want to say ghost adventures?) during an investigation. If you've seen the full episode it starts with seeing the people taking the ghost tour walking around about a minute later you see this. This is the 4th floor of waverly, notorious for being the critical children's unit. Those are clearly children in period clothing. The camera movement is done by the investigator to eliminate the possibility of those being reflections.
I'm curious about this because it seems like a static camera which is triggered by movement, and starts panning back and forth when it sees motion. I think the idea is to eliminate critters and anomalies. And obviously, it is positioned high which I think means by the owners of the building. Camsixteem, can you get the sender of the video to explain it to you?
There is a purpose I believe for the camera moving... sometimes when people post fake vids of ghosts they "caught", once the camera moves, the ghost moves with it, thus proving they aren't real. In this video the figure does not move when the camera does. I've heard a LOT of weird things about Waverly and would LOVE to visit it at least once in my lifetime.
It ain't fake, the cam moves to show it's real and being picked up from the area itself. The camera doesn't seem to be to good though. For all we know : It's 2 investigators being poorly picked up in the footage. +1 for effort.

It doesn't make sense to see a shadow in darkness but we did. ALLL OF US. It stopped about 2 ft in front of us. We were all just frozen. Then something unwrapped my scarf and it fell to the floor. The one little shadow was still in front of me. Feeling my scarf fall snapped me out of it bc I was truly mesmerized.

That's the Creeper. It's an infamous ghost/spirit/demon thing there. People have been chased by that thing all the way out of the building. I live less than 2 miles from Waverly Hills....very interesting place...anyone who has a chance to visit Louisville, Ky should try to see the place....
The reason for moving the camera side to side is to prove to both the viewer and the one recording that the light is not a reflection or camera glitch. Notice that the light figures remain stationary when the camera is moved side to side. This is exactly what should be done in such a scenario, in order to immediately rule out any natural causes.
This is a good shot. You can see all the way down the hall. The only thing that bothers me is, what is behind the camera? There is definitely something showing up. It could be from an investigation and if so that would explain the text on the screen.

That's panning to make sure the image that the camera man is seeing is not a glitch. It's also to help prove that this was actually on the film and not an add in.

OMG! I was here once and I had an encounter. A friend and I went to the Haunted House and they let you in the morgue. Well my friend and I were walking down the hall and saw this white figure and decided to go see what it was. It was in the shape of a man. When we got to the spot. Nothing was there except wall. You best believe we booked it and I actually ran into a wall cause I was sooo freaking scared. I cried all the way out of the hospital.
Waverly Hills is definitely haunted. I went on a ghost hunt and captured a ghost on my digital camera sitting beside the gargoyle. It was a little girl. Amazing!!!!!
I disagree. The camera was panning to make sure what you saw was not a relection or refraction of something. What you saw, the "ghost" was a constant untill it, itself, moved to the left, out of view. The only downfall is, the operator did not "zoom" in on the paranormal activity, which you just witnessed.
Which frame is it supposed to be on? Is this a UV camera? We did this same thing and that looks like someone with a light of some sort down the hall, shining on their legs. The only thing we caught on video was a mysterious light appearing, but since it happens so close to the camera it is difficult to prove.

If you watch the video in pieces and pause it, you can see when the image first comes into focus for a second it is a man in a vest and when it moves again it is a woman looking down wearing what looks like a hospital gown.
Attention everybody! Waverly Hills will be remodeled into a hotel/casino/spa. It will replace much of the original building (walls, etc) ruining a lot of history. This will also eliminate the great tours and all-night investigations that are currently provided there.

And then at the very end (around there), there is a taller figure that seems to be walking towards the two shorter figures, or fading in, which might possibly just be a nurse, a parent, or the nurse who commited suicide.
Actually the reason the camera is moving is (assuming this is a legitmate and not a fake) is to try to discern whether its an effect of the camera (light reflection, shadow, etc). This guy/gal wanted to be sure what they were seeing/filming was really there and not an electronic defect.

This camera is static no one is operating it. The camera is fitted with a motion detector, thats why it's moving when sométhing moves in front of it and stops when nothing moves.

waverly hills isn't that scary really. I've been on all 3 tours. 2 hour tour: 20 $, 4 hour tour 50 $ and over is 100 $. 2 hour tour wasn't scary one bit...If you take picture,s you see orbs...thats all. 4 hour tour, not much...day to mid day...you might hear something, take pictures...or video record something...but its not like OMG! overnight is okay..you do alot of stuff...its not that bad

I disagree. The camera was panning to make sure what you saw was not a relection or refraction of something. What you saw, the "ghost" was a constant untill it, itself, moved to the left, out of view. The only downfall is, the operator did not "zoom" in on the paranormal activity, which you just witnessed.

Which frame is it supposed to be on? Is this a UV camera? We did this same thing and that looks like someone with a light of some sort down the hall, shining on their legs. The only thing we caught on video was a mysterious light appearing, but since it happens so close to the camera it is difficult to prove.

If you watch the video in pieces and pause it, you can see when the image first comes into focus for a second it is a man in a vest and when it moves again it is a woman looking down wearing what looks like a hospital gown.

No the idiot holding the camera kept moving the camera around so he caught the shadows from the pillars and light.
If it was a on a tripod then obviously the camera wasn't secured therefore it rocked if there was any wind or breeze.
Either way it's only light and pillar shadows.

There are two figures.
To me, the figures are short, and the body frame is too young or tiny to be considered an adult or a tall person.
It looks like 2 children, quite possibly playing around.

Actually the reason the camera is moving is (assuming this is a legitmate and not a fake) is to try to discern whether its an effect of the camera (light reflection, shadow, etc). This guy/gal wanted to be sure what they were seeing/filming was really there and not an electronic defect.

This camera is static no one is operating it. The camera is fitted with a motion detector, thats why it's moving when sométhing moves in front of it and stops when nothing moves.

waverly hills isn't that scary really. I've been on all 3 tours. 2 hour tour: 20 $, 4 hour tour 50 $ and over is 100 $. 2 hour tour wasn't scary one bit...If you take picture,s you see orbs...thats all. 4 hour tour, not much...day to mid day...you might hear something, take pictures...or video record something...but its not like OMG! overnight is okay..you do alot of stuff...its not that bad

oh woww, i went there almosta year and a half ago and i saw some crazzyy things with other witnesses. We saw something quitee like that on the fourth floor it was, i believe. then we kept smelling the scent of roses drifting in and out. no one was wearing perfume.

Whats the deal with the camera moving? I don't think people realize how easy it is to fake something like this... If you have a certain type of camera and you shake the camera while you are taking a picture it makes orb like things appear, and then you have a ghost, congrats...
