Actually, I think the commitee and voters got it right. It was a very close vote but I think that Ingram really deserves it. However, I would have no problem if Ndamukong Suh or Toby Gerhart won as well. I don't think tebow and McCoy deserved it. In fact, I don't even know why they were invited to New York other for than for the rating. Neither one had a Heisman year.

I may be the only one in america who thinks Ingram really isn't at all special. He hasn't done anything that neither WOWed me or done something I couldn't see his backup doing. Oh well, congrats Tide.

The "problem" is that his backup is also a 5-star recruit and among the best backs in the country. Just because Richardson is incredibly talented doesn't mean Ingram isn't as well. Someday, both of these guys will be playing on Sunday!
The Heisman is not about the best pro potential but outstanding performance by an individual. Ingram fits into Alabama's team as "The Running back on the best team in football" nothing more. He's a stud for sure but not special in any skill set.

Everyone knows the wildcat is instant rush yardage. Ingram could not be a reciever, but he is an effective pass catcher out of the backfield. As for YAC...no doubt he's tough to tackle. I'm saying that Alabama's a great team and he's just kind of a cog in the machine, allbeit a shiny cog.

I agree. So many people want to bash the heisman if their player doesn't win. I honestly though McCoy was going to win it. Mark is a deserving guy.
