Hi Neal! You were part of the GREATEST Contemporary christian band of the 1990's called East to West with Rascal Flatts member Jay Demarcus. It was by far my favorite cd. I was wondering where I could find any songs by East to West online? You guys were great.
I also LOVED East to West. The only place to find their music is on ITunes, but I went to amazon.com to purchase their cd's. I had the cassette tapes when I was younger (lol) but wanted to continue to enjoy the music I adored so much in my teenage years.

I think our purpose is to be good people who follow God's will. Maybe you'll get back to that. This is a bit self-indulgent to me, as I think life should be about others, simple pleasures and God. Fame and luxury is fleeting and sadly, most people don't care about our creative expressions (I'm a songwriter). They are more for our own therapy. I'll pray for you to find what you're looking for, if it's God's will.
I think my tone is being misunderstood ~ I feel the same way sometimes, so I'm not judging other than seeing the obvious search for purpose as it relates to an industry that recognizes success as public praise. There's a conflict there; it comes from within. I've known other people who left Christian music ~ they're at peace if they continue to seek God, and if not, they're empty. Since my only comfort and direction come from God most days, I just don't understand where else it would come from.

This guy's a very good singer but I don't understand the point of this video. He wants to be more famous? To be "known" in some way? There's got to be "more to life for me," he says, but what exactly does he want? The word "fame" comes up a lot in this video. So I guess he wants to be more famous as a singer. But having a good-to-great voice doesn't mean that you deserve to be famous. Or does it? Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting the guy down. Just looking for some clarification.

He started as a lead vocalist of "East to West" a CCM music along with Jay DeMarcus(now with Rascal Flatts) and the duo did very well, Neal's talent is unlimitted but underestimated in my opinion!!
