I still can't believe the circumstances around this - another example of how our "higher skill set" managers and a vindictive controller - threw a teammate under the bus. MYDIH...

A co-worker is there to help others when in need and you did anything but and now want a payout from the FAA to supplement your shortcomings in the work place.

Shame on you Carrie, You admitted in the beginning that you slept on the job also your statement about we did this until the DC incident proved this. So you admitted to sleeping on the job even though the FAA bans it...even if while on a break. It is known that you went after Mr. Martin after he turned you in for not doing your job so you went for a tit for tat response. You let a person violate airspace and did nothing to prevent it....also a violation of the rules.

This woman is a vindictive, self centered, sick person. I retired after 28 yrs of ATC and I'm glad I never had to work with her. She turned in her colleague, cost him his job just so that she could get even.

Furthermore she screams gender discrimination, when she can't get along with male co-workers because she is a BEEOTCH. I know from experience that her facility (Cleveland center) has plenty of professional woman controllers that coexist peacefully and harmoniously with males every day.

She could have saved some air time by saying " I am a crappy controller and after 20 years I would rather get a settlement than work anymore." So over 200 controllers are "stacking up planes" toward her airspace but no one else. Poor Carrie. Looks like she talked to everyone and did her homework. Not to excuse What Ken Martin did, but this woman definitely found her early retirement meal ticket.

Why is the ATC doing this? Do they even fucking care? Fuck Ken Martin, either give him time off or get people who can stay awake in their shift. It's not like a fucking software development, people's lives are at stake here.
