Oh; this does not work on Google, does it? I tried Cherry AND Washington NOT George and I got a bunch of pages with George Washington, Cherry, And and Not.
The 'AND' operator is add implicitly by most search engine, hence you don't need to type it in when you do the search. As for 'OR' and 'NOT' operator, they may vary depends on different search engine. You may want to check on their help page to make sure.
didnt think it would be, but that was very useful

Google does not use NOT to exclude a term, it use '-' instead. Different databases may use different term or symbol for an operation.

google puts and automaticly between all words if you don´t put there other operator.
instead of NOT google uses - (minus)
OR works in google but you have to write it in capitals

Do Boolean operators work on all search engines or do you need to have a specific type of computer?

Hi,
Thanks for posting this video. It is very useful.
Would you consider posting this video on TeacherTube? I would like to use it in my class but YouTube is blocked in my school.
Thanks.
