We were lucky...The best Band in the world. All the other great Bands and Artists, a concert ticket away, it was the 70s. I remember paying 9 dollars in 1977 for my Zep concert ticket. Still have that son-of-a-gun. Will there ever be an Band as complicated and mysterious as Led Zeppelin? Only time will tell.
@markre60 Hey Im like you mate got our tickets cheap but expensive in them days. I was lucky enough to live in west sussex in england where jimi the man had a place and would often just jam in the local boozer (pub) and the friens he brought along you could noy have enough money to pay for it the great days of R&R So lucky to be an old man now but still enjoy
This was my brother's favorite Led Zepp song, we played it after his funeral at my families gathering.... I always remember he would air drum the Bonzo drum parts, whenever I hear this song I think of my bro- he is in heaven now.... r.i.p. Robert James Butler. I was blessed to have you for 44 years as my older bro- this song is for you:)
there are conflicting reports about the ages of both les pauls,both are 58/59 but due to missing serial numbers onhis number 1msome experts are still undecided on the exact year on both guitars which is well documented.There are 59,s with fat necks and 58,s with sliimer necks,it was,nt an exact science back then.
This was before he he wanted to use white summer/black mountain side intro (which is also dadgad tuning) hence the use of the danelectro and therefore keeping his les pauls in standard tuning.This is his number 2 59 as it has white open colis and darker burst,wowo what a saddo i am haha!!
@zofo666 Actually, his # 2 was a 58 which he had the neck shaved on, to resemble the profile of the 59. Not trying to be a smartass know it all, I promise. Just historically correct. But # 2 is a 58. Take care.
i love the part 0:00 to 10:10.....i was so dazed and confused! thenn i realized the song remains the same and we just had to rock and roll!!! best BAND IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!
@gl797 i completely agree

This is classic Zep back in the day. I saw them soon after this show on day on the green in Oakland Ca around 1976-77.

well, THAT's the way a Zeppelin classic ought to be rated like!
Seems that classic one's never been detected by bloody haters and trolls.
love Pagey's lil' mess at 6:18. It displays even Jimmy is human what I often put into question.
See you next time here lads and keep looking for the Holy Grail.
