I honestly think kemp needed 5 defenders on the court trying to stop him to make it look like a better dunk. He dunks better in a game. In this dunk contest situation I just dont think he is motivated to dunk like its practice. Kemp is the best in-game dunker ever.

Much respect to Shawn Kemp, but if you go to :07, his left foot (jumping foot) was at least a half-foot passed the free throw line. Keep this in mind: Kemp was 6'10.

Does anyone think he could've jumped exactly from the free throw line?

The only person i ever saw (i'm sure there are others) cleanly do it was Drexler in his Phi Slamma Jamma days at houston.

@jamal111 The year MJ put a piece of tape down on the FT line, he was true to it. There were multiple dunk comps where MJ went for it.

MJ did the FT dunk with a legal dribble too. Most guys don't. This Kemp dunk looked like a legal dribble.

By FAR the best free throw dunk. No question on where he took off from, you can see the floor between his shoe and the line. Thats the only one i have seen where there is no question.

Boamuro... Ce dunk, personne ne l'a jamais fait. Noone have done it again. It's a mix of: martial arts, gymnastic and jumping. Even Vince Carter at his best would maybe failed. I am big fan of Dee brown and I was so happy for him BUT this dunks note is (200%) 50. Kemp never won a dunk contest but all the winners know who he was.
