  • @gghrre23 Realize that they will hand out every DUI for wee that they can, it's revenue. Put you in a class, take your keys and make you pay, that is the plan of 502.

  • NO 502 502 is a seriously flawed bill. t is not Legalization, has no provision for growing, puts all the power in the hands of the government. It limits sales and access to a State provided and State grown ounce-creates a legal tool for them to test our blood, makes driving a illegal -all possibly expanded on, to further erode other parts of our liberty. They want to take our Blood to test it?

  • vote no on 502!!!! they will take your legal rights to grow your own. they will only allow you purchase 1 ounce from them alone.if you get caught growing your own after this law is up and running you will be prosecuted and if thats not enough they will make it a FELONY at that.read the november ballot and get educated. even the netherlands have not legalized it. vote no and help us keep our rights.

  • please dont tell me that you people seriously wont vote for this because of the dui thing. if it really isnt a problem then you will never get caught because you will be driving completely normally right?

  • @MsFriedchiken Don't you realize that a Cop decides impairment based on no science, just a big brother opinion of red eyes?

  • It doesn't matter what the state does, since the federal government laws makes it illegal. Cali cannabis dispensaries get raided all the time by the feds..

  • I don't want to work and everyone should have to pay all of my living costs. The govt should be required to give me prescription weed for my chronic laziness. And all those 60,000+ Mexicans I've helped to murder with my weed/welfare/ebt dollars can go suck a cactus!

  • Go caucus for Ron Paul on March 3rd 2012, then go to vote for Ron and vote to legalize marijuana in November.

  • 5 nanograms per liter of blood is the cut off. 50-100 is the cut off for a Federal job. vote this mess out till they fix the language. Anyone can get 5 nanos second hand. please read this bill. there is a much better Initiative that needs backing, with appropriate language (ty undeadpres)

  • There is another initiative for complete legalization at sensiblewashington d○t org

  • The tax money is the impetus for this initiative, as the state is having to cut back a lot with its billions in deficit. Who is going to be growing the crops? This won't eliminate the criminal market. It would be better to legalize it completely. As for DUI, blood testing should only be done if a collision has occured and there is reasonable suspicion.

That being said, I still think that it's better than the complete prohibition we have now.

  • He said "tightly controlled" like the alcohol industry.

That is bad. Alcohol licenses are too expensive. Just legalise the herb. Let small growers run the market.

  • Here's an idea don't drive while high!!! Right after you toke you are 100ng but after an hour you are back down to single digits in nanogram. legalization is better than prohibition we can ALWAYS tweak the bill later but voting No on this is a completely dumb idea cannabis should not only be used medically it should be used recreationally

  • This video says Marijuana will be LEGAL soon in WA state !!! OK, watch the local WA cops start busting people if I-502 passes on cultivation charges for small closet grows.I-502 is very misleading, under I-502 home grows are not allowed, still illegal. The only thing thats legal is POSSESSION and buying it from a STATE run store under I-502.Most people will resort to growing their own when they see how much $ the state will charge.I-502 if passed will cause more arrests than there are now in WA

  • @undergroundbasement I disagree dude. It's a step forward to a more resourceful life. It has many pros and only minuscule cons. You have to look at the bigger picture - This isn't only for WA state, as it may look that way, it is for the world to see and understand that all the nasty things said about Medicinal Pot are totally wrong.

And about what you said "Most people will resort to growing their own..." People are going to grow it regardless. Just like people illegally brewing home alcohol.

  • @undergroundbasement The state knows (as do most thinking people) that the price they charge is going to have to be lower than what you can buy it on the street otherwise people will continue to go to their usual sources. The street price will drop to as they will have to compete with legal stores.

  • @ardvarkkkkk1 You base this on what economic data? Nearly every market principle requires that state weed would cost more than illicit weed--driving people right back to black market sources. Your argument is complete bullshit.

  • Fuck yes!

  • I really don't give a rats ass if it gets leglazied or not anymore. The deocrats are behind it so I think there has to be a catch. The DUI thing is pretty scary but I honestly have never seen or heard of anyone getting a DUI for being high on pot. I dont know how they could tell unless they set up nazi 1984 mobile blood draws. I have not heard any plans of that though. MR994porche and snowleopard1937 it sounds like you are weed dealers using fear mongering tactics....i could be wrong though.

  • Keep it Medical. VOTE NO!

  • VOTE NO!

  • @Mr944porsche how would they know you are stoned though? If you just put in a few visine drops and keep your windows rolled down if you blaze and drive i think you will be fine. its not like they can force you to do a blood draw on mere suspicion. Did you actually read the full bill by any chance? like i said though, it was written by democrats. so, naturally, they are going to make things worse at the same time they make things better.

  • @jonjuan27 blood test

  • @Mr944porsche Lmao are you retarded? Gtfo.

  • @Mr944porsche you will soon get a dui either way hence "driving under the influence", its not "driving while drunk"

  • @Mr944porsche lets also ban cars so there will be no DUIs *sarcasm*

  • @MrBubonicChronic damn! they really want to charge that much!? thats highway robbery. Im hoping if its legal its like $50 an ounce.

  • @jonjuan27 fuckin 25% tax. i think i'll stick with the black market. they can't prove where i baught it anyway. and the dui thing is fucked up too.

  • @MrBubonicChronic well if they want to charge that much for it if its legal ill just grow the shit myself. fuck them.

  • We can't forget all the smokers who want to be free of state prosecution, it will add more revenue to WA. =]

  • If you use cannabis for medical purposes, you should be aware that I-502 creates a new law that can land you in jail. It's called Per Se DUI with no rebuttable presumption. What it means: If you are over 21 and have more than 5 ng/ml of THC in your bloodstream, you are guilty of DUI even if you are not impaired. If you are under 21, that limit drops to 0.00. In other words, even if you are a patient, you cannot have even the slightest detectable amount of THC in your system while driving a car.

  • @PatientsAgainstNAW Oh im totally agianst that part of the bill. Im a true medical user and stoner. This bill was written by democrats and lawyers, so its a double edged axe. it looks good on the surface but at the same time turns legal medical users into criminals. Its going to pass, for sure, but they really are going about it the wrong way. legaliziation though is a good step. the thing is though, how are they going to know you been smokin unless they have a mobile blood draw unit?

  • @jonjuan27 Shouldn't be a problem if you're not rolling stoned. Police won't pull you over unless weed's affecting your driving anywho. It's not like they could tell the difference

  • @fskate2 Yeah, no problem giving your Blood to the Police State?

  • Blood tests, unlike urinalysis, detect the presence illicit drugs, not inactive drug metabolites. In general, THC only remains detectable in the blood of cannabis consumers for a few hours (12-24+ hours if more sensitive technology is used). Because of this narrow detection window, blood tests are typically only administered in order to estimate recent cannabis consumption. Therefore, most after-hours consumers have little to fear from a blood screen.

  • @PatientsAgainstNAW I think your wrong, because you can get a DUI now if the cops suspect of being high. I-502 amends Washington’s Uniform Controlled Substances Act, codified at Chapter 69.50 of the Revised

    Code of Washington,

3 and makes no changes to the Medical Use of Cannabis Act. Patients will continue to

be allowed to grow their own marijuana plants and possess a 60-day supply of medical marijuana.

  • fuck!, i came here thinking it was WA as in Western Australia lol

  • @NextGenRev I hope you are able to get it legalized there!

  • @NextGenRev I hope you are able to get it legalized there!

  • jonjuan27! is this only to washington? not new york? is there a new york initiative?

  • by the time will it be legal in at least 3 years. will i be able to use it at the age of 18

  • @griffallstar Actually if it gets legalized it will be for age 21, which I think is retarded, espeically since you only have to be 18 to vote for the law. It is just to please the madd mother crowd though. MJ isnt even dangerous and there is no evidence that people who are 18 would be at risk for anything. But, there has to be compromises to get the sheeple to vote for it.

  • when azactly will it be legal i want a damn date!

  • @griffallstar That i can not give you. As far as a date goes. The initiative has to get 214K signatures to get on the general election ballot. So, im guessing by july 2013 it will be legal here. Even if the New Approach Washington thing fails, there is both state and federal legislation in place to legalize marijuana. I think we are on a good track.

  • @jonjuan27 yea Ron Paul is amazing, I'm glad people actually recognize me lol I'm such a nobody..well yea he's got my vote!

  • @laredoturtle Keep spreading the word brother! Ya know today was his birthday and he made over 1.5 million in donations from common folks like us. that is amazing!!!

  • RON Paul 2012!!

  • @laredoturtle Hey I love Ron Paul too. I don't know who flagged you as spam but it wasn't me!

  • @laredoturtle Fuck Ron Paul. If he gets elected, it will mean the complete end of America.

  • i agree with this video 100% i do smoke weed and i have to admit i do have my problems but i can honestly say marijuana didn't cause any of them and i studied the facts about this unlike many who don't and that's why i think it should be legal.

  • @MIB205 Just as any pot smoker how "dangerous" it is. Very few people will tell you it is dangerous. The government does not have public safety in mind for keeping it illegal. It's got to be the drug companies paying the DEA to keep it as a schedule 1 drug. I love it how a law enforcement agency can make medical desisions for people.

  • @MIB205 I agree too. I smoke marijuana medically for bipolar disorder. It has helped me more than you can imagine. It is a medical plant and more important than anyone can understand.
