  • Great Video!!

  • thanks for video

  • this isnt true

  • cool...........

  • lol at the dude breathing at the beginning of the video

  • AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!

    BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!

  • I have trouble breathing now

  • CO2 diffuses out of the blood plasma, not the red blood cells.

  • @SKarletKennedy They should make that clearer.

  • @RaquelBlahBla True

  • no, no he definately wrong

  • it really does depend if u r american or not to how u pronounce stuff (no offence 2 any1)

  • yeah it iz right zath when ze exchange of gases takes place between ze atmosphere n cellsit iz called respiration.....but breathing iz the process which does not occur at cellular level....it occur at organ level means it iz a process in which the lungs ventilate....right...zthen how iz it possible that respiration includes breathing....it was good thanks.....

  • @zelunika You iz... dumb.

  • errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... the process of exchanging gases between the atmosphere and the bodies cells is not respiration. Respiration is the chemical reaction that takes place in the cells........

Also the bit about alveoli sacs -> alveoli......theyre the same thing.

    Get your facts straight USA

  • @trishacray alveoli r not the unit of respiration but air sac iz....az some ppl says zath alveoli iz ze unit of respiration but no...air sac iz the unit of respiration....

  • clearly judging by your comment you don't have much of an education. When you get your Biology degree come back and we can discuss this further

  • i thouyght that to :D he gave a definition for gas exchange not respiration huh? hehe :) the vid was informatiove tho

  • @trishacray I think he meant ventilation...from the usa!

  • inspire means breathe in, expire means breathe out.

  • why did they not put on cloths on him!!!??

  • Alvela?

    Cappalary?

    WTF

  • its spelled alveoli

    and capillary

when i first heard i was like WTF too

  • this is making it difficult for me breath now i really biology sometimes

  • very helpful

  • The way he pronounces "alveoli" and "capillaries" is so annoying!

  • Why is that annoying? isn't that the way they are supposed to be pronounced?

  • You would think that. You're American.

  • That still doesn't answer my question.

  • In america it is probabally normal to pronounce capillaries like

"cappy-lair-ees" but everyone I know pronounces it like "capil-ar-ees". I shouldn't really be taking the mick, but it annoys me what happened to the english language when it crossed the Atlantic. I suppose if it hadn't, we would all be speaking Spanish or German.

  • Oh, I see... Got ya.

  • actually...that's obviously not a real person speaking. That's not how we pronounce things....at least not in my respiratory therapy class...he is mispronouncing alveolar too. I admit...the english language is awful over here, but it's not our fault. It's the governments. The education system is failing. Grammar is hardly ever taught any more. They are more focused on making everyone literate than they are worried about anything else.

  • @TeamCrucible in england, we dont dedicate all of our english classes to pronounciation, and stuff. infact, im in secondary school in yr8 and its the first time i ever remember havin a lesson on it (that we just started). and i don't mean stuff like the teach in nersery

  • @sparkypeeps He's pronouncing the words correctly, so obviously the way you say them is annoying.
