You go a bit too fast, and listen to the original Peril soundtrack. At 15-16 seconds in, there should be 5 notes, not 2.

The pattern is 1,2; 1,2; (higher --->) 1,2; 1,2; (lower again --->) 1,2; 1,2; (even lower --->) 1,2; 1,2,3,4,5;
