  • Is there a difference between kiln drying and natural drying?

  • @tonytrilex Hi Tony, Kiln drying speeds up the drying process dramatically, and also the quality of the dried wood. Natural (air) drying takes much longer, and increases the likelihood of mold, checking, and discoloration. Both methods work well when done correctly, it just depends on your needs.
