"Fake" and "Scripted" are two very different things. What they do in the ring is very much physical and dangerous, who cares if the mic work is rehearsed and scripted, even that's still impressive and still entertaining if they're good at that.
There is alot of acting involved but I don't think the moves are totally fake. If someone was seriously slam by alot of those moves shown with full force (I don't think wrestling uses full force) then people could be seriously hurt or killed.

They are inflicting pain on each not having an actual fight. As for the script that depends on the wrestlers involved. Some have the entire match scripted some go in blind. However most of the big spots in ECW were very much scripted as their is a high risk element.

But more often than not the blood is real because they blade themselves and Im sure getting hit with a chair or being put through tables isn't really enjoyable. And after a few years of taking bumps ( getting powerbombed and piledrived and suplexed ect..) on those thin mats, it will eventually take a tole on your body.
Nothing is fake in the entertainment industry (Hollywood acting, pro wrestling, football, boxing, kung-fu matches, reality TV, etc.)! It's all real stuff!

When I was in like 7th grade this indy company did a show at a festival. After the show they let people get into the ring and mess around. I decided to jump up in the air and land on my back to see how it felt. It fucking hurts! I found myself gasping for air...maybe I didn't take the bump right, but one thing for sure is that this isn't FAKE and every true wrestling fan has a real respect for those performers putting everything out there to entertain us.

The only way some of you will respect it is to go to a training school and train.When your sore as hell the next day you will know its not fake.scripted yes .A couple things respectively I dont consider it an actual sport since its pre determined ,but you have got to be somewhat athletic to do .The rest is spot on though and I know how it is

For all people that don't know wrestling is 80% real the only things that are fake are sometimes the names, and the punches and thats not even all the time they actually hit each other but for the other times its all about a snap or showing a reaction of getting without actually getting hit. and if you still think its fake watch videos on wrestlers after last man standing matches they barley can stand...

"Fake" and "Scripted" are two very different things. What they do in the ring is very much physical and dangerous, who cares if the mic work is rehearsed and scripted, even that's still impressive and still entertaining if they're good at that.

There is alot of acting involved but I don't think the moves are totally fake. If someone was seriously slam by alot of those moves shown with full force (I don't think wrestling uses full force) then people could be seriously hurt or killed.

Just because somebody is willing to inflict pain on themselves does not mean it real they are stuntmen that put their bodys through some shit for entertainment. But it this way if 2 peoplereally had a fight involving chairs lightbulbs ladders and what other shit they use they would end up in hospital.
Just try and sit back enjoy the entertainment without having to try and justify it as "real".

They are inflicting pain on each not having an actual fight. As for the script that depends on the wrestlers involved. Some have the entire match scripted some go in blind. However most of the big spots in ECW were very much scripted as their is a high risk element.

@xDan92 Um.....You don't actually know the truth about wrestling. The spot monkeys in CZW put themselves in danger because most of them are amateurs, and sometimes are basically backyard wrestlers. That doesn't make it any more real then the established promotions.

@xDan92 I know damn well they didn't shoot wrestle in ECW. Not as a general rule, there might've been exceptions just like there were in WWF sometimes. The stuff with the foreign objects wasn't any more real then they were and are in the WWE, which is to say they are real strikes.

im not really sure what difference is between WWE wrestling and Pro wrestling but wrestling looks fake to me. But there are accidents that happen and those are real but i dont think you could have a metal chair smashed over your head 3 times then thrown through a REAL table and still be able to think and move normally

@purplepimp777 A tough person would be able to think and move normally. In wrestling the punches and kicks are fake ( unless there is accidental contact ). But more often than not the blood is real because they blade themselves and Im sure getting hit with a chair or being put through tables isn't really enjoyable. And after a few years of taking bumps ( getting powerbombed and piledrived and suplexed ect..) on those thin mats, it will eventually take a tole on your body.

THIS GUY IS SO TRUE! It is a scripted sport but the risks, the bumps, the slams, the weapons, that isnt fake at all. It is a sport in alot of countries, blood is real. Im training to be a pro wrestler. The crap hurts, and people dont realize how much you put your body on the line to do what you love and put on a show.
