Missing Man Steven Koecher on First Surveillance Camera

How far away was his parked car? Most people drive right to the place they are going. The clock on the video says 12:00 so it probably a lunch meeting. That would be by invitation and parking the car up the street would have been by request of the invitor (seems to me). Too bad Googlearth doesn't have a street view for Island Lights Ave yet

The police have investigate everyone in the neighborhood the SUV has been thoroughly checked out and found to have nothing to do with Steven Koecher's disappearance. His car was checked out for drugs and it was concluded there were never any drugs in that car. I think he went there to meet someone for a job and ran into a big mess. Either on Evening Lights or Portsmouth Creek. There are houses in there who do run companies.

creepy the white 4x4 was obviously following him in both directions and you could see him approach the gate to the home he was heading to.

@353kimmy the 4x4 was not following him. It was verified that was a real estate agent showing a home. They have been checked out. The second video shows him heading further down the street and you can continue to see him walking by looking in the window of the parked car. The SUV has nothing to do with his disappearance. That is what everyone thinks when they see this video.

If a 3rd or 4th canvass hasnt been done it needs 2 b done, specifically, 4 any unusual brushes w/the law of residents or persons that do business in the area, or any unusual complaints from neighbors, former employers/co-workers, church members, against those residents/bus. person in the area..

Steven had no reason 2 randomly park his car in that Cul-de-Sac. Some1 he met used his good nature, desire to get a job, work ethic against him, lured him there and now the young man is dead

Some1 that lives there/nearby or functions/does business in that neighborhood who used the pretext of being interested in Steven's writing skills, ect, to lure him

it seems like a timed meet. He waited til noon, then got out and started walking with purpose. I don't care if that suv was a realtor showing a house, it's suspicious that they didn't pull into the houses driveway instead, they drove by steven's car, then slowly pulled up as if watching him walk down the street. the timing of him walking and that other car creeping is suspect to me.

Did the white SUV even have CSI look at it? I don't care if a realtor owned it. Also did the check any data bases for sexual predators that lived in the area. Were there any suspected serial killers in the area. I don't mean to denigrate anyone's police work because I don't know what it entailed. I absolutely suspect foul play. I also suspect the perp probably resides nearby.

The clues are definitely in the neighborhood in which Steven is walking. I wonder if it's possible for a forensic accountant to run BG checks on the local residences to see if any have registered businesses from their homes.

I have watched this video so many times and it is now clear that this is a walk by someone who is going to someone's house. He is clearly holding something like a folder or application. This is not the walk of someone who is lost.

I have no doubt that he is walking to an employment interview. He looks like he is carrying a folder with a resume or application. There was someone on portsmouth creek who was running an employment company about a year ago.

The body is male, according to CNN.

They have found the body of a man in the west desert of utah west of stockton so they say it is a man, the person of interest in the susan cox powell case knows his name

@DouglasUrantia i know!!! i was thinking haven't they already done that? that should have been the first thing they did!!!!!! he went there for a reason. and someone in that neighborhood knows why he never came out. maybe they know something but arent saying anything in fear that it would jeapordize the investigation...

That's what I thought too...It looks like the white van was following him and when we was walking away - it looks like the white van is following him and near the end of the video - it looks like the van is about to turn.

Oh, and Koecher is walking FAST - as if the knows exactly where he is going (compared to being lost and confused) or as if something is on his mind. That is a FAST walk...just saying. NOT just a "stroll in the neighborhood" type of walking-pace.
