theres also no real way for scientist to know for certain what the internal chemical compounds of planets like jupiter are. all they have to go by is color
theorize for a minute that theres types of life that can survive high pressure and radiation things we arent custom to because of where we were born. these gas giants also have some major chemical compositions that are complex and all are believed to have water and warm internal heat, not to mention they have extremely powerful magnetic fields which protects them from damage from solar wind. i think its quite possible
@Klebik I think it wouldn't be so big problem. Some bacterias have adapted to radiation level of thousand times more than lethal to us. For example, google "Deinococcus radiodurans" and its strange & interesting way to protect against radiation. Creatures of large planets could adapt this way. In fact, the constant convection of atmosphere should be the much larger problem of these creatures.

Its possible for life to have adapted to a hostile planet but it would likely be very small or weak.

and what about the radiation of these massive planets? I think it would be a big problem for any life forms...

@AtollRu wow, thanks for the info, sounds interesting :) I haven' t heard of it.

@Klebik even human xray and radiology techs already show great radiation immunity just because their near it frequently.
