Im not sure if the Mizell brothers produced the Blackbyrds but when Donald Byrd got into Jazz Funk and all that fusion the Mizell brothers produced him and Donald Byrd taught the Blackbyrds and produced alot of their songs.

I'm not new to the Mizell Bros but i Heard this for the first time today on 91.9 wclk.com streaming on the net. College radio in Atlanta from 2 to 6pm. i thought it was Donald Byrd or the Black Byrds. i was wrong but close. Yo we gotta save music n promote this instead of the here today gone tomorrow bs. anything by the Mizell bros is hot. 70's were a time of musicianship, creativity and experimentation. not copying or duplicating
