@TheWefikus bro have you ever seen Peter's reviews, you can't them personal he is pretty accurate at letting you know the good ones from the bad ones. Although I thought the movie was okay, it wasn't what you expected by the trailer or how the movie was portrayed to be A good spy movie has suspense and a good dialogue plot throughout, giving you characters that dominate and sit back in the film, this movie just didn't have a good distinguished concept on the thriller aspect of good film making.

Tinker Tailor SOldier Spy is a amazing movie. To be fair i understand why you didnt like it, but then again you said Tron was an amazing movie..... There are so many hidden clues that people can decide not to see. I guess you were expecting another action spy movie, but you need to remember that spies are not what the movies make them to be. I subscribe to him, watch his show every week, and agree with him on a lot of what he says. But I'm with you when you say he totally missed the mark on this one. I'm currently reading the book and if the film turns out to be anything like it, I honestly cannot explain how he came to his conclusion. And to say that critics gave it good reviews to make the TV spot? -_- No.

But Rallis isnt just anyone. Hes an advertised youtube channel making money from being a film reviewer. He has to approach a film review from different perspectives, not just his own. I suppose he has a particular audience to cater to, but I think many would like this film if your more into complex characters and Mark Strong beating the shit out of owls rather than your average spy agent film.

Its quite obvious you just didn't understand what was going on in tinker, tailor, soldier, spy. You have to hang on the dialogue to understand the overall film. Your point that reviewers only gave it a good review to get their name in the tv spot is to put it bluntly, bullshit.
