It's a Goya Hagstrom P46 made in Sweden. The same guitar is on the cover of the AW album "Electric Jewels" from '73. Cool guitar! Wish I owned one myself.

Yes, April Wine rocks for sure. Why do you have to throw in the Canada thing? Does it matter? If someone said "American Musicians Rock!", you'd call it jingoism or ridicule them for having any national pride, but Yanks really don't do that. When I see a great band like this, I don't immediately think about "what country" they're from. I just like the music.

the issue is, most Canadian bands don't get ANY airplay in the US. as much as it slips by, America does alot of "slanting"

For example, the baseball pitcher, Roger Clemens, apparently on 'roids, so the American news and sports stations use the pictures of when he was a Toronto Blue Jay, for all off 2 years out of a 20+ year career.

America takes a lot of pride in a lot of unnecessary stuff, so no need to ask someone from another country to not be proud.

Your accusations and generalizations are total bull shit. Canuck bands get PLENTY of airplay. Do you have any idea how many times a day a Guess Who song or BTO song is played on the countless classic rock stations in America? And that's just a tiny example. If you're bitching because a band like April Wine perhaps didn't have as much success in the U.S. as in Canada, maybe you should consider maybe their management is to blame. Or it could be the luck of the draw. It's just how things happen.

every clip I've ever seen of Clemons, he was wearing a Red Sox shirt, so your theory is worthless. Sounds like you're one of those jealous Canadians. There are many US music artists that never gained widespread popularity in the US but were more popular overseas, so you see, the career of an artist can go in strange directions. No one is picking on you poor Canadians. I'm a yank and April Wine was always one of my favorites. Honeymoon Suite was another but didn't make it to superstar status.

Roughly Speaking wasn't too good. Bad recording quality and the songs weren't too good. Didn't mind I'am, I, am or Saw someone. Sucks for April wine is they got I think a half million dollars worth of epuiment stolen. Myles got his Electric Jewels guitar stolen. Man there goin though a terrible time.

Why do they need to make a comeback when they never went anywhere? Face it, great rock bands like this don't get airplay anymore. Hip hop crap has taken over the world. Times have changed for the worse in the music world. All we have now is the huge music library of great bands like April Wine and so many more.
