In sweden we never hear a biased position, we just don't. What we see on american newchannels makes us laugh, Fox news gives such twisted stories like "you'll go to jail if you don't pay for health insurance"-Bill O'Reily and when he was asked about it he had "never ever said it!"

O''Reilly's show is more about his opinion than anything else, and every channel (although CNN is good about being flat-out news compared to the others) has its equivalent. Did Fox lie about what was going on during 9/11 or when Osama was killed? Again, all channels are the same.

I'd suppose because it definitely tells me what's going on in the world, but at the same time I'd say that it is more of a news-comedy show because it only really features a limited amount of actual news, the rest is him just talking about it and making people laugh. All news channels are the same. They all have regular news then they have those shows full of biased info. Everyone does it.

@MedievalAmbient No, biased newchannels is mostly only in the US, Fox news are republican and conservative while MSNBC is democratic and liberal. In sweden we never hear a biased position, we just don't. What we see on american newchannels makes us laugh, Fox news gives such twisted stories like "you'll go to jail if you don't pay for health insurance"-Bill O'Reily and when he was asked about it he had "never ever said it!"
If you want more exemples i got plenty, Fox News is biased shit news.

@WallieTF I'll say again, every news channel has shows that are full of opinions. O''Reilly's show is more about his opinion than anything else, and every channel (although CNN is good about being flat-out news compared to the others) has its equivalent. But when it's not a show like that, it's real news. Go compare some news channels right now that are all talking about the same thing. Did Fox lie about what was going on during 9/11 or when Osama was killed? Again, all channels are the same.

We'll in some extent you're right but Fox News just pushes the limits and cannot be called a news channel.

@WallieTF The only qualification for a news channel is that it tells you what's going on in your area, country, or in the world. Fox does that, so yes it can be called a news channel. A very popular one too.
However, again, I don't like any news channels because they all lean in some political direction. I want news, not news + opinions. That's why I do online news. There are a lot more options.

@WallieTF I don't know much about that show because I've only seen it a few times. I'd suppose because it definitely tells me what's going on in the world, but at the same time I'd say that it is more of a news-comedy show because it only really features a limited amount of actual news, the rest is him just talking about it and making people laugh. But yeah, it is a form of news to me (not the most efficient one at that).

@MedievalAmbient There are plenty examples of FOX news caught telling lies on youtube, you are not looking really hard if you can't find them. MSNBC grew biased as a counter to FOX. Sheppard Smith and Dylan Ratigan are the only two worth watching on either channel, It sucks that they come on at the same time!

What's the problem with Fox? They are odd sometimes but it's not like they get on the news and start talking about how slavery is great and shit like that. They're just as biased as any other news station. I'm not sure why everyone loves to just hate on a corporation that is just as biased as any other.
