  • Wow, so that's how they steal American jobs!

  • hey i love yamaha products pa speakerss115v and sw218v subwoofers rgx121s electric guitar emx 2000 12 ch powered mixing board

  • look on this girl who cuts the wood, she doesn t wear ear ,its not factory its slavery machine,I ll never buy yamaha products

  • @motorniczy7777 haha are you serious, yamaha is the only reason these people eat dumbass

  • As you can see, it really doesn't matter whether the guitar is made in China or made in USA. What it all comes down to is QUALITY CONTROL.

    Congratulations Yamaha! :-)

  • Engelmann spruce for Europe? Interesting...

  • I'm looking to buy my first guitar, I had looked at a Washburn, but tomorrow I'm going to buy me a Yamaha.

First class sales pitch, thanks for posting.

    Excellent work.

  • Wow. Now my fg750S feels so much better after I know the amount of effort that went into it.

  • Yamaha, I hope you treat your staff better than the Cort factory did in South Korea.

  • This video is quite impressive. I wish I had seen this before I purchased my Chinese made Wechter - which isn't a bad guitar or anything. It's just that tapping into the Chinese labor market just seems to go much better when a company (like Yamaha) actually OWNS the manufacturing facility rather than just contracting with it.

  • fuck everyone that is china!!!!!!!! now imagine japan , that must be an out the world quality

  • guy reminds me of vince, from shamwow

  • Impressive video. I own a Yamaha and an Ovation guitar, both which were made in China. They are both impeccably built, and play beautifully.

  • Cool video - though I must say not all the guitars are properly setup from the factory. I just bought a new Yamaha FJX7200sc, and while it's a great guitar for the money ($560 Canadian) it definitely was NOT setup properly right from the factory. The action needed to be adjusted by lowering the bridge height and the truss rod required and adjustment. The factory delivered 'action' was very high.

  • Sorry but I am just mesmerised by the presenter....I have watched this video a hundred times just hoping that he decides to take his shirt off in one of them...just dreamy....I think I am going to marry him one day...xx

  • Gslam69, do you have webcam?

    find me here: fullsatchel@gmail

  • I am from the days that Americans got enough money working a job to buy American products. I am from the days that a man, as head of his family, was able to make enough money.

But then then women demanded work too. So employers split the man's money in two. Now two people worked for the price of one.

You all here think it is normal that our buying power is so little these days that most of us are FORCED to buy slave labour cheap goods from Asia?

Soon nobody can buy China products...!

  • I dont care what anybody says....thats an incredible proccess for a 200 dollar guitar.Unheard of. Did you see the lady near the end during the set-up final inspection stage? She actually plays every single fret on every string to make sure theres no fretting out or buzz....thats custom shop attention.Ive returned many guitars that fret out, that you know never were inspected properly. Truly amazing quality for the price.

I now own several Yamahas..every one phenomonal

  • Impressive. Wish you could have also shown us how the classical guitar are made.

  • dirckson, how old are you? I bought a Yamaha FG-180 40 years ago and it was made in Taiwan.

  • I own 26 guitars that were built in North America and I own 2 Yamaha guitars. You won't find a better $200 (USD) starter guitar than the Yamaha FG700S. I think that Yamaha owns the market priced under 400 USD. I work in packaging engineering and I spend 70% of my day in assorted manufacturing facilities. It's nice to see that Yamaha has a clean and organized environment (not a sweat shop).

I enjoyed the video. Thanks for posting it YCM. Check out my F325 Gigmaker review video. Thanks!

  • @studio1087 I agree, I have a friend who has an older Acoustic Yamaha 12 string, it's really a nice guitar, sounds beautiful. Also you are right about clean environments, there is a video on youtube that shows the chinese factories that make some of the most popular brands of guitars, the conditions are horrible. (people spraying guitars 10 feet from sanders and planers)

  • If our criminal government ships our tax money overseas to build fatories over there...and most all of us loose our job because of that...who is going to buy these guitars...??? Certainly no American!

The workers of this factory? Who get paid what? 4 dollar a week?

    Get your head examend!!!

  • hmmm. sounds like you've got some time on your hands there.

Next time, before you hit 'send' in a racist angry email, take a look in the mirror and say..

    "Could I have done better"?

PS: The word is examined, not examend.

Even a bloody chinaman knows that.

  • dirckson....Yamaha is a Japanese company. They never did manufacture in the U.S. If you are looking for companies that have 'shipped out' out jobs from the U.S, you would need to look at Fender (mexico, china) and Gibson (Epiphone China)...Just FYI buddy.

  • @crackferry

It's OUR corporations that has put the screws to us. They outsourced North American products and made huge profits and sell them to us. Margins for the products made are very small but they will improve their standard of living. I don't blame the countries like China etc - they just want to earn a decent living. American Greed - thats all it is - Americans will do ANYTHING for a buck.

  • @connemaraisland Way to generalize. You're aware that American labor is insanely expensive due to government intervention, unionization, and collectivism, right? Outsourcing of jobs to places like China and Indonesia isn't due to "corporate greed," it's done out of necessity to remain profitable without downsizing and becoming a specialty company. It's called adaptation, America has become a country of ideas, not manufacturing.

  • probably because of cheap labor, companies are wise enough to think a marketing strategy to gain more profit and less expense. in america, people are demanding when it comes to wage, based on experience. And that is why most business production are outsource to other countries with less tax imposed and cheap labor

  • @dirckson Youre worried about some chinese people trying to make a living by making the world amazing instruments for a bargain price? You want to know why there arent enough jobs for you and yours here in america?Because you as an american, have to have the latest smart phone..ipad...ipod every single month. As a society we empty our pockets for the crap...instead of into our communities and local products. its us that cant go without crap that are truly to blame

  • Now that is impressive!

I'm surprised at the amount of hand craftsmanship and care on a mass produced product. No wonder the FG range is rated so highly.

I've just bought an FG720s for my son for Christmas and I would like to say it's flawless perfection.

So thanks to the workforce and Yamaha for an excellent product, and thank you for posting.

    A very happy customer.
