  • 00 camry ?

  • what if u have no heat gun

    ?

  • the silver "thing" is called trim

  • @jakass619 oh. thanks?

  • It will turn purple and may develop bubbles over several years. It just depends on how much intense sun light/heat it is exposed to. The Black Magic tint is just a cheap dyed film. Using a metallic or ceramic film over a dyed film is a much better option. Not bashin or anything, just informing.

  • @a1ex1990 i baught those also so is the lower percentage darker or lighter im confused now

  • Man sorry but this is not a good job!!! You have a lot to learn. Walmart tint is piese of shit, its going to turn purple after 1 hot summer. Second you dont you regural steel knife to cut on windows, its wilp scratch your window, stainless steel only!!! You can get it on ebay for like 5$ " olfa knife". Second hurd card will scratch your window when you sqeegee water out, if you put white paper towel around it will cratch also, you should use blue "shop" paper towel " Third you dont cut bottom

  • @imigrant11

sorry beener you have alot to learn. the walmart tint, had it for about 4 years and its not anywhere close to purple. as for your third tip, you can cut tint wherever the fuck you want haha

  • Hey dude I notice that you uploaded this video over a year ago... is the tint still holding up & looking good? Because I want to do this too, but I don't want to waste my time if it's just going to look like shit later on.

  • what size is that roll?

  • nice video!!!!

how well does the black magic tint hold up?

im going to do my car on the cheep and was gonna use this stuff. do 5 in the back and 35 in the front. maby 20 in the front. idk yet

  • spray the crap out of it ahaha. gonna tint two front windows, this is very usefull. Ill spray the crap out of it too :)

  • Hey cool video! I've windows tinted like 4 times, two on each of my cars. It's never turned out as good as you're doing it. I want to tint the windows on my new car, but it's a really nice car compared to what I've been driving previously and I want to make sure I do it right, but I don't want to pay $250 to have someone else do it. So thanks for the help! You said you live in MN, where abouts if you don't mind me asking.

  • For the tools you had,you did great. There are several tools that would have given you better results. A slammer, hard card and a turbo squeegee would have been a lot better to use. The slammer would have gotten the tint in better in the gasket, the turbo squeegee takes out a lot more water and the hard card as a finisher. Again you did great for what you had. You have the concept. Go online and search tinting tools....you'll be amazed what is used in this industry...Happy Tinting!

  • man why is everyone so harsh on this guy. Some people dont have 200 dollars to go to a tint shop. His job wasnt that bad, and also I have done walmart tint several times. as long as you apply it right I have never had a problem with it. SO ALL YOU THAT ARE HATTING START POSTING YOUR TINT JOBS THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND QUIT TALKING $hT ABOUT HIS. GOOD JOB BRO NOT TO BAD FOR HOME JOB

  • Nice dude from minnesota. Its so shady here 50%. Nice lancer by the way

  • That was the worst 10 mins of my life. If anyone thinks walmart film is anything like a pro uses you need your head checked. And I like the gap on each side of your window.

  • bahaha, walmart tint? for those who are watching, this is why you take it to professionals

  • glen- walmart tint is not just as good as tint shops use. you will be lucky to get a year out of it before it bubbles and turns purple. plus, it costs almost 3x what a professional quality film does. also, dishwashing soap is not good for the film, because all the degreasers and hand lotions in it harm the adhesive over time. if you must use dish soap, you have to use unscented original joy, the yellow stuff. it doesn't have any degreasers or anything that will harm the film.

  • You NOOB! shrink fingers on the outside of the window first to fit the window before applying to the inside. And put behind the window channel instead of stuffing it behind there with your bondo card! NOOB. So much contamination, u didnt show your finished piece of crap work! and I like how you had to stop your video many times to just get it right. It takes me ten mins without stopping and im done. get a life take to a professional and you wont be wasting money. NOOB!!! dont listen to him!

  • Have you tinted the camera lens too?

    cheers

  • is it real hard the first time you try it?

  • This will definally help me out thank you man for this video I will later do this on my 1999 Toyota camry (:

I need you to show me how to tint that back Rear window where the speaker's are near the trunk man I have major confusion on how to do that aha.

  • you broke your side veiw mirror

  • oh man i know! its so great that you can do it yourself and save so much..but i started tinting my windows over easter..first i got 35% just in the back..then i decided to make it 20% in the back and 35% in the front..then i screwed up the last front window and i made the mistake of getting a different brand (the one before had kind of an ugly blueish tint) so i re did all of them and put 5% in back and 35% in front :)

  • Hey!!!! i did the same thing i went to walmart and got tint i did 5% tint all around its awsome walmart tint is just as good as tint shops use. i used dishwashing soap it works great. how many times have you tinted ur windows? ive tinted my windows alot i used to have 35% tint all around but i changed it to 5% tint all around i like it alot better. i drive a 1998 chevy cavalier ls
