Okay I'm all about keeping eye contact, but actually it's easier to change your point of vision from eyes to in between the eyebrows. A friend of mine and I actually tried to maintain a conversation WITHOUT looking away from eachother...it was an epic failure..

anyway...Good advice (this is coming from a lady) and let me just tell you that it is refreshing to hear that chivarly is not dead..I wish men would offer me a chair once in a while :(

I believe that a guy should always have the intention to pay. At least for the first few dates. If the female insists to split the bill, then that's fine but guys shouldn't expect a girl to split the bill.

If it's one of those double swinging doors, then pull the door towards you for the lady to walk in first. Otherwise push the door and walk through first but hold it for the lady.
