So i had a meeting today and it went well....Oh look at that red car! hahaha I thnk youre totally right, and its sad to see that chivalry is disappearing...at least where I come from
I could not agree more with everything you said!! As a woman, I never see any guys doing any of these things, and it truly makes me sad. Guys don't realize just how far those little things go when making a very favorable impression on a woman. Hope you make more videos soon! You make me want to visit Australia! :)
Okay I'm all about keeping eye contact, but actually it's easier to change your point of vision from eyes to in between the eyebrows. A friend of mine and I actually tried to maintain a conversation WITHOUT looking away from eachother...it was an epic failure..
anyway...Good advice (this is coming from a lady) and let me just tell you that it is refreshing to hear that chivarly is not dead..I wish men would offer me a chair once in a while :(
I believe that a guy should always have the intention to pay. At least for the first few dates. If the female insists to split the bill, then that's fine but guys shouldn't expect a girl to split the bill.
Nice point about not changing the topic, often neglected
Problem with #1 is the narrow push door socommon in modern architecture(feminist architects?), if u open one of these doors then she must squeeze by or u break a rule anyway by entering first to hold the door
#7 really? That usually is bit uncomfortable. Ladies, do you want us to maintain eye the whole time you are speaking?
Not that I mind that much, I just thought they would feel uncomfortable too. Input well appreciated, Ladies
If it's one of those double swinging doors, then pull the door towards you for the lady to walk in first. Otherwise push the door and walk through first but hold it for the lady.
i got called a gentleman before but i just need to actually wanna be it to people then i can be else i just dont care about if its a girl or not i dont open a door and be polite
rule 8: Be a friend, If she is having a problem, be a friend and help, if you see her carrying something with two hands and even when it looks like she doesn't have a problem carrying them, ask if she could use a hand.
Rule 9: Care for others before yourself, Never start a conversation about yourself, ask how was her day or how did a recent event she mentioned earlier (refer to rule 7) went. It shows that you care, and you are still a gentleman.
No 2 ... I gotta say i looked stupid when i did that when i was on the uni hopper bus. That girl said "i wouldn't like to sit there anyway".. i had to sit back again with my burnt ego for almost 20min there. So No 2 not very good for me. Thanks for the rest of the tips.
Im a former...well so called feminist. I say so called because I really never agreed with everything they agree with. eh so i dropped the label. But personally I have always appreciated those nice little things you have pointed out from men. I think they are very sweet. Thank you. :)
I have nothing against feminist women in principle, but some really take it too far (or are just plain hypocritical about "equality") and I think that sours my view of them. Hooray for chivalry living on!

From what you said, my parents raised me as a gentleman.
I have to say though, keeping eye contact with a person makes the slightly uncomfortable at first because people usually don't do it anymore.

You forgot to not look at the cleavage, they won't speak back to you lolz.
But I don't necessarily agree with you.
I consider myself fairly feminist, but I still expect a guy to be chivalous towards me.
I see it as a sign of respect toward woman.
I just never get the gentleman lolz.

I think the most important rule is to not to sayforget her name . Nothing is worse on a date than to say "What's your name again?".

That's like mine too. My US audience are mainly 35 to 45 year olds! In China, it's 55+! In Australia it's mainly younger folks.
