  • VERY COOL VID ; )

  • <3 Brian <3 R.I.P.

  • cool... a B&W version of this song (video) too. Totally love this...

  • interesting reading, wasn't a big fan of Sweet in the day, sadly a Gary Glitter fan at the time, sorry to confess this, however, as l have got older, I've learnt to appreciate this groups music in dearth, very sorry to read about Brian passing away, bet he's having a ball with the other legends in the sky...R.I.P Brian

Many thanks for posting the video, l love the black n white images

  • great song! i like it.

  • God I love this song!

  • Painfull to watch; they are not happy and energetic anymore.

  • I love this song - but they look bored...

    and Brian looks sooooooooo tired!

    Good quality vid though.

  • What has Andy said to Brian at 3.23.

  • ... I am sure something rude or mean ... Andy treated Brian like shit ... watch how he shakes his head and turns away before he says something to Brian ... like a teacher who is unhappy with the student ... I am sure Andys behaviour towards Brian was one of the main reasons Brian got so deep into drinking. Unfortunatly Brian was to weak and made a perfect victim for Andys attacks. Andy destroyed the band ... (and still does it with his poor Andy Scotts Sweet performances)

  • I agree absolutly. It's a shame.

  • Damned straight, especially when you consider that Brian passed on in 1997 due to liver failure.

  • What a tool- he smiles before he speaks. Guess you know everything though...

  • This is so true.

In Steve's book, he refers to Andy as a Prima Donna, and "regularly putting the boot in".

Also, that Brian found it really hard coping with what Phil Wayman wanted, (and Chinn & Chapman), with the recording.

Andy - is my least favourite. In the tower records interview - he takes over.

But, it WAS his brilliant song writing, that gave the band some of their most memorable hits.

I'm glad Steve's still gigging - he and Andy don't talk at all.

  • "Love is like oxygen," Great song, and great memories from the summer of 78'

  • What a BLAST! This song just goes on and on and I love it. Just like Jadranko23 said, 30 years and still fresh, clean and powerful.i couldn't have said it better my self!

    Peace, Jim~

  • I think the original full LP version is much better..

  • great song.. but i like it when brian and micks hair was longer..

  • Pure diamond! This song is not aging, 30 years on and it's still fresh, clean and powerful! The black and white video suits fantastic.

  • Could´t have said it better myself !!! True lyrics...great melody...great song !!! Absolutely timeless and precious !!!

Does somebody knows " H.I.M. `s " " Join Me In Death " ? The beginning is really interesting !!!

  • It's great. And again: Thank's a lot.
