Has anyone else had their videos disappear after they've posted them? I just reposted mine for the 3rd time. I'm not sure what's going on here but I've never had this happen anywhere else. It's seems weird that all 3 would disappear twice. Something is amiss.

yes it has happened to a few folks. like i said before, it's some sort of youtube glitch, so just redo the video response. i've never seen this problem either, and i've had other video responses on other pages myself over a year. hopefully youtube will fix this glitch.

please keep complaining, so we know about it, and I have email notifications of all uploaded videos, so I have a record of the upload, and no one will be cut out of the contest after the month ends because of this.

Hey, I do not know why a few videos have seemed to disappear. It seems to be only a few, as most others stayed where they were. I assure you I have not removed any videos.

If this happens, please let me know, and repost them, while i wait on an answer from YouTube as to why this would happen.

I reposted my videos. If there is a reason they were deliberately removed let me know. They are my originals so I don't think there is any reason they'd be removed but just want to make sure. Thank you.

I'm so excited about all of the opportunities available to artists these days. I've just started using youtube and can't believe what I've come across in just a short time. So, on YouTube, I don't use my real name. IF, and I'm saying IF, because I highly doubt that I will win, but if,by a slim chance, I do (and this could go for any of the winners) would I be able to post this fake name on the video but have my real name on everything else? How would I do that? Or would I not be able to?

not sure what you are asking, but i will venture a guess.

if someone wins the contest with a certain "youtube" name, and they actually want to be called something else, and it's a legit name, (not like Elton John or anything) than they can call themselves whatever they like, but once it goes out on the web, that's it. :)

Hi Peter, this is a pretty cool idea, will that winner sign a non-exclusive deal for their song as well?

non exclusive deal? all we do is non exclusive. that's what should appeal to established artists, who have songs already on itunes, etc. they can put that same song into the contest, and get a whole new exposure. this will really start looking more advantageous as this thing grows.

as far as signing anything, no, i'm going to avoid that. basically when i message the winners, i will ask for the high quality track and ask them to check a box that they agree with the basic terms.

that's up to you guys, but i would not put up a "top quality" video on youtube. people have a tendency to just leech it and then there is no reason to buy the mp3.

your track is strong, and video is entertaining. i would leave it unless you see a bunch of entries bombard the page.
