Unused MMPR Monster #3: Ice Queen

Was there ever a fight in MMPR that had mega Ninjor, the Ninja Megazord and the Shogun Megazord used like they were here? Cause this seemed too awesome to pass up...and the snowmen fit perfectly with the cheese factor Power Rangers was always known for.

This is one of those clips where we realize that there was a lot that Saban could have done with footage where Kakuranger used both megazords, but for whatever reason chose not to. The only thing that they would have kind of had to dance around in explaining was that the Falconzord appears to have been absent in this battle, and Power Rangers had established the Falconzord as being integral to the Ninjazords' operation rather than as something that was able to function separately.

@ZeldaTheSwordsman Agreed there - some of the monsters that we've seen over the years have been downright bizarre. Especially Nimrod where it became three monsters, or Globbor, where it took a Ninjor form, as well as a (Kaku)ranger form.

I think the REAL reason this wasn't used is that the monster's costume wasn't in usable condition, preventing Saban from producing footage of the Rangers fighting it on foot. For Pudgy Pig they were able to make a new suit, but it was difficult.

There are a couple zips floating around of various MMPR sound effects. One of them includes the Ninja Zords' cries.

As for Ninjor's theme, track down the PRIS song "Mach 23." For some reason, Ninjor's theme is used as the opening of the song, so I just cut it from that.

if they still wanted to use that monster, they might as well make some ugly looking snowmen costumes and some how get the rest of the megazords, ninjor, and ice queen costumes and actually recreate that fight scene, they might have made an episode for it XD

Probably. Or they just didn't have time. Since Sentai is almost always longer than its respective PR season some monsters of the day are invariably cut. Only show that used every Sentai monster was the first season because it ran the longest since they didn't want to take any breaks and risk losing interest. And they couldn't make their own footage yet.

If you mean when Zedd and Rita crossed their staffs, it was for more power. Zedd's orbs were more powerful than her staff alone. Once they came together, they made their monster's more powerful.

Saban had to match the source in grow method. zyuranger's Bandora threw her wand. Diranger used grow bombs. and kakuranger had thunder storms. so the us footage had to link up or it would never match.

The blue guy is Ninjor.

And you can see in the video, slightly, that Tommy appears to sit down in the Shogun Megazord, like he has just entered it, meaning the Rangers got out of the Ninja Megazord, and climbed into the Shogun Megazord.

Later in MMPR3, Billy created a device so that they could control the Ninja Megazord while they were all in the Shogun Megazord.

No MMPRTM is an altenate universe and is not offical Power Rangers cannon. The ninja quest saga tells the altenate version of the movie's events. If you mean in real life Season 3 came out in the fall of 1995 which was months after the movie's release.
