  • ok appeaser Don't worry they'll eat you first.

"O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who

are near to you, and let them find harshness in you,

and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty" Qur'an, Sura 9:123

  • @xSecretRainx He didnt do it in the name of any god you ass the last words all these animals chant are allah

  • Respond to this video... Hammas says thanks for being a loyal ass I mean supporter

  • @xSecretRainx no they do represent the religion check out some of the other places these animals are infecting you moron. India and the Sudan and Algeria and Afghanistan and New York and Pakistan and Israel and Russia and Chechnya and the Philippines and Indonesia and Nigeria and England and

...and pretty much wherever Islam is taken seriously:

  • I also am against having a mosque built on Ground Zero! However, having one built TWO BLOCKS AWAY that isn't JUST a mosque, it's a MULTI-FAITH COMMUNITY CENTER, that I'm fine with. And I am 100% positive that the majority of people they asked did NOT oppose the mosque, just the select few they put in this video

  • people have the right to their opinions and to speak their minds this is america not some eastern country where we can't ask where the money is coming from. If you don't like america RALFA LEAVE. FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR ALL!

  • Rick Lazio is a fearful bigot who has nothing to run except oppressing a minority.

  • It's NOT about Freedom of Religion as reported by the left socialist-marxist media.

Since Muslims do NOT have nor "believe-in" Freedom of Religion or Basic Civil Rights you have NO right to peach to any American about Racism.

But oh wait, that's another race card being pulled out yet again.

If logic and common sense "Don't Fit, It Must Be The Race Card"!

  • @lees20022

I am very much an American, and not in London. Your stalker skills are quite subpar.

  • @lees20022

go wikipedia "racism", you'll see that it is inclusive of ethnic groups. either way, bigotry is bigotry and it seems with Prop 8, Arizona immigration, and now this, that the only platform the republican party has to stand on is DISCRIMINATION against minority groups. UNconstitutional tea party racists.

  • Aren't we supposed to be trying to win "Hearts and Minds" in the Muslim world with our war in Afghanistan? If we are going to spread this message of hatred of Islam to the rest of the world- we need to get our troops out of the Middle East IMMEDIATELY for their own safety. Your hatred and fear-mongering puts Americans in danger all over the world. This is why they attacked on 9/11- because they felt that the West was attacking Islam. This only proves that they were right! This has set us back.

  • @Stunpage2

So you're saying that we deserve it now and that is why you want to disrespect our 9/11 victims (including me). Ah! So the truth comes out. You just want to build a victory mosque to celebrate our suffering. You people are the true threat to peace. All over the world you people commit violent acts (middle east, africa, pakistan, phillipines, indonesia, western china, usa) to push your agenda. we're sick of it.

  • @jimmykong57 I'm a native NYC resident who also lost a close friend in the WTC attack. In my opinion, the ultimate disrespect to my friend and the other 9/11 victims is to change what America is about in response to this random attack by a small group of religous zealot extremists. Bigots like you are an embarrasment to this country, and all I want is to be proud to be an American again. I do feel that we deserve to be attacked- especially you- I want to change that. That's all.

  • @Stunpage2

A small group? How many large scale violent attacks have been committed by muslims in the past 20 yrs? 15+ By christians? 1 or 2? buddhists? 0 hindus? 0 Were you evacuated from your home 9/11? No. But I was? Lost almost my life & everything! And you call me a bigot? If someone killed your wife are you going to be all nice and welcoming to him/her afterwards? No. If you don't like it here you can leave and I hope something tragic happens to you so that you can experience what I felt!

  • @jimmykong57 The Cordoba house developers killed your wife? you should call the police. You are too stupid to recognize any more. I'm done with you... it's too easy.

  • @Stunpage2

Oh my god! You are so childish and stupid! Child-like responses! Its obvious you can't have an mature adult-like debate.

  • @Stunpage2

In case you ignorant to know the founder, inam, refuses to acknowledge hamas as a terrorist organization. If he was really peace loving as he claims, you know like you also, he would have denounced hamas and violence.

  • @Stunpage2

I hope your mother drops dead or you get hit by a car!

  • @jimmykong57 Classy. Coming from the guy who cried about the need to have a mature, "adult-like" debate. Keep mentioning how you were a victim of 9/11 & almost lost all of your belongings. That doesn't entitle you to act like a bigot & paint a billion & a half followers of a religion as terrorists with one broad stroke.

  • @mattyp4

This proves you have no empathy towards our victims! Karma! Its going to come back at you! When tragedy hits you & your family, remember that its Karma returned to you! Unless you actually was in 9/11 you will never know what we went thru until something tragic happens to you! And it will! And you what .. we won't give a shit because you didn't! If someone tried to mug or kill you, are you going to say "lets be friends"? You're an ignorant retard!

  • @jimmykong57 Yeah, that totally proves I have no empathy towards 9/11 victims. You're absolutely right. Thanks for coming to that conclusion. The only person I have no empathy for is you b/c all you're doing is calling people "fucking idiots" & "retards" if they don't agree with you. (And I don't believe in karma or magic or miracles or whatever either. I'm not a child.... nor so gullible. Thanks though.)

  • @mattyp4

You certainly write like a immature child! Yes, I call people like you fucking idiots & retards because your comments have no logic, valid responses, or any persuading arguments; in fact all you do is just give me back stupid rhetoric.

  • @jimmykong57 Freedom of Religion can harldly be considered an "agenda". You are a stupid little person. This is not a debate. This is a clash between people who stand up for American principles and scared little bigots like you. How dare you use the tragedy that claimed the lives of thousands of people as an excuse to promote hatred and intolerance. How dare you- you piece of filth.

  • @Stunpage2

I'm not stupid. I'm an educated man. This is not about freedom of religion. Its about timing, tact, inconsiderate decision to build the mosque here, and disrespectful to our victims. If you don't understand or respect it than you are a pathetic immature human being. How dare you use freedom of religion as an excuse to build this mosque so close to the tragedy that was caused by your muslim brothers! Its obvious that you're the uneducated, ignorant moron based on your writing.

  • @jimmykong57 Muslim brothers? Lol.

  • @jimmykong57

First of all, I'm not muslim so you can put whatever you want on my tombstone.. preferably pepperoni. You are only offended because people actually let the HATE speech of a particularly racist woman become "truth." No one is building a "victory mosque".. that is complete garbage. It is ironic that the goal of the center was to help heal the damage caused by extremist militants, but now that wound has been opened up by racist right wingers.

  • @ralfa11

I'm offended & angry because I was a victim. I lived in 3 blocks away from WTC. I almost lost my life, saw people jump to their deaths, was homeless for 4 months (we were evacuated & not allowed to return 4 months later), and lost almost everything (we threw out because of toxic dust). All this happened because of islamic jihad executed by muslims (19). If they want healing then respect MY WISHES and move the mosque elsewhere. Its insensitive! 9/11 was 9 years ago (not 100, not 50).

  • @jimmykong57

"All this happened because of islamic jihad executed by muslims." No, it all happened because a small group of individuals decided they wanted to harm a lot of innocent people. Blaming the actions of a few on an entire religion is wrong, and simply perpetuates unjust hatred. It is that same type of bigotry that underlies islamic extremists... that itself is a huge problem. But we will not progress by spreading our own hatred, and attacking those that are working for tolerance.

  • @ralfa11

I disagree that its a "small group of individuals". If you examine the statistics, radical islamic bombings are on rise (several US embassy bombings, madrid train bombings, london bus bombings, many bombings linked to german & british mosques). Its not as if its one or two incidents, its hundreds of incidents & uncovered plots. Action speaks louder than words! Bill Clinton said himself "islamic extremism is the greatest threat" to Bush Jr. You're naive to think such idealistic ways.

  • @jimmykong57

I agree with you that radical islam no small problem, and that it is growing larger by the day. Nonetheless, I disagree when it comes to abandoning our own principles in response. We will not throw out the first amendment and begin discriminating against muslim Americans. We will not begin a CRUSADE against islam. If we truly believe in the principles of our society, we need to hold them up, and work through the problem intelligently. These TV pundits are like children.

  • @ralfa11

This is not about a "crusade" nor is it about with freedom of religion. Instead its is about respecting the victims feelings & pain, the majority which are christians. Its barely been 9 years. And the so-called "9/11 families" that support it are the muslim victims, 30 or so which translates to less than 2% of all the 9/11 victims. The majority of 9/11 families opposes this mosque. If the mosque builders don't respect their this than its disrespect and insensitive.

  • @jimmykong57 What a careless generalization to say that only "30 or so" 9/11 families support the "mosque," and that all of them are Muslims. I'd love to see you prove that. Think before you type. Just because a majority of the victims are white Christians doesn't mean we should discount the rest of the races, creeds, ethnicities, etc, that make up the remaining victims. White Christian 9/11 victims are no more important than Muslim victims. Bigot.

  • @mattyp4

That statistic was given by the news media you fucking moron. I never said to discount the other ethnicities. But rather its point out that the supporters are using "9/11 families" under false pretenses intended to exaggerate the 9/11 families' support when in fact most oppose! Stop pretending that you know what your talking about. Get your facts straight! F U C K I NG IDIOT!

  • @jimmykong57 What "news media?!" Unless someone were to poll every single relative of a 9/11 victim, I'm not going to believe those phony statistics. Even if a majority of the families support the mosque, that doesn't give them power of authority. That's like saying, "Well, the majority of the people in this country are heterosexual Christians, so it's okay if they vote to strip the rights of homosexuals." And thanks again for calling me a "fucking idiot." You're a class act.

  • @mattyp4

I have nothing against homosexuals; I believe they should have rights just like anyone else. In islam, homosexuality is punishable by death and those laws exist today in the middle east. You provide no facts and have really no clue what you're talking about. You're talking out of your ass. You are fucking idiot.

  • @jimmykong57 Islamic extremism IS a great threat to our security, but not ALL of Islam is "EXTREME." That's the whole point to this debate. The people opposed to the community center refuse to see it this way-- they are painting all of Islam as "extreme" and as the "bad guys"... and that's not smart. It's ugly, ignorant & downright dangerous. And it's going to cause a lot of trouble.

  • @mattyp4

Do you know whats dangerous? Naive ignorant fools like you thinking, "oh lets be friends!" to people that want to kill you. I hope someone does. I'm entitled to say NO. Its my right, my freedom of speech. And its your right to expressed your naive idealistic ways like a fool.

  • @jimmykong57 Dude, take a breath & wipe the froth from your mouth. When did I say "let's be friends!" with the terrorists who tried to kill us? I did not. And I wouldn't want to be their friends. And I can't be their friends anyway b/c they're dead. I don't want to be friends with violent radicals, be they Muslims or Christians. And regardless to what fearmongers like Pamela Geller tell you, the people behind Park51 are not radical, violent terrorists. I'm sorry, but you can't say that.

  • @mattyp4

Muzzammil Hassan, a prominent "moderate" muslim who received an award from Council of American Islamic Relations. Guess what he did? He beheaded his wife islamic style because she filed for divorce and order of protection. Why don't you invite him over for dinner and have him hang out with your wife?

  • @jimmykong57 Again, you can't take one person's actions & make assumptions about entire religions, as bad as this guy may be. You're generalizing. You seem to want to refuse to believe that there are civilized Muslim-Americans out there. You WANT to paint them all as the villain. We're never going to move forward & build bridges that way. I'm not saying befriend murderers. I'm just saying don't generalize.

And I don't have a wife, but thanks.

  • @mattyp4

I don't generalize. I base my opinions on my personal experiences. Yes, there are some civilized muslims out there but i've only met a few. The rest are a bunch of pricks with attitudes. If they want respect, they must give respect first; respect our victims, Ground Zero, our feelings.

  • @jimmykong57 You poor thing. To think, you almost lost all of your material possessions. And you must have been the only one to witness people jumping to their deaths that day. Your knee-jerk, prejudiced wishes must indeed be respected then.

  • @mattyp4

I hope you get robbed, stabbed, or shot! And when you're lying there dying hoping someone will help you just remember what you wrote to me. And I hope no one will help you and leave you there to die in pain! Senseless Jerkoff!

  • @jimmykong57 Again, you stay classy, jimmykong!!

You're clogging the comment section with vulgar language while wishing death upon the people who don't agree with you. You'd like for us to get stabbed, shot, hit by cars, or just to drop dead. And here I thought I should be worried about extremist Muslims.

(You need help. And you definitely need to take a chill pill!)

  • @mattyp4

As I recall, you're wrote the you wish me harm, that you hoped something happened to me. Hypocrite! In case you forgot this video opposes the mosque and so my comments fit here well. And again, its my freedom of speech that allows me to post my comments. I'm exercising it here!

  • Comment removed

  • when did HATE SPEECH become OKAY in the US. This is disgusting, you all should be ashamed to be American. This is first rate racism and attempts to violate the very FIRST principle of our society, the first amendment. RACISM IS UNAMERICAN.

  • @ralfa11

This was never about racism you moron. Its about a mosque literally next to Ground Zero, a sacred site now, you asshole. In fact, body parts & debris, aircraft engine parts were found on the roof of that building jerkoff. And more importantly its about sensitivity to us, the victims! I guess you don't mind we place crosses or hebrew stars on muslim grave stones right? After all its freedom of speech! If you don't mind us place christian crosses on your tombstones we wont mind!!

  • @jimmykong57 If it is a "sacred site," you do realize that a 100-story office space is going to be built atop this hallowed ground, do you?! As in, literally ON TOP of Ground Zero. I don't get how that's acceptable but a faith-based cultural center, located 2 blocks away, is not. (Not to mention the strip clubs & porn shops & bars & fast food joints that litter the same area.) Lower Manhattan is still a thriving, bustling NYC neighborhood. People live & work there. It is not a cemetery.

  • @mattyp4

No you ignorant fool! The freedom tower will be built next to the "WTC footprints"; The "footprints" will be a memorial dedicated to the victims. Do you know what you're talking about? If you don't know the area shut up! You're complaining of the strip clubs, porn shops, bars, fast food? Are you kidding me? You should be complaining about radical islamic extremism that caused 9/11!

  • @jimmykong57 Yeah, the freedom tower will be built NEXT TO the footprints. Just like Park51 will be built TWO BLOCKS FROM the footprints. Again I ask, how is it okay for 100 stories of office towers to be built "next to" something but not okay for something else to be built "2 blocks from" the same place? Your logic is skewed. Your prejudice is getting in the way.

  • @mattyp4

Are you kidding? You forgot that WTC was destroyed by muslims and that WTC site is being REBUILT, that WTC originally was an office tower! Its not ok for muslims to build a mosque next to the same site that they destroyed! You have NO logic! You're ignorance is astounding!

  • @jimmykong57 For somebody who's making claims about other's logic, it seems you have none. "Muslims" did indeed destroy the WTC. However, the last time I checked, every single Muslim was NOT on the planes that were flown into the towers. There are such people in every religion known as extremists. For example, in WW2 we did not try all of Germany for the war crimes committed, only the few extremists that had done the damage. Try learning what logic is before you accuse others of not having any

  • @ralfa11

    Do you whats un-American?

The "brooklyn blind cleric" that was promoting violence from a brooklyn mosque against us on OUR OWN SOIL!

The fact that terrorists materials were found in mosques in OUR OWN SOIL in brooklyn & queens.

The fact that you have NO SENSITIVITY to our victims in OUR OWN SOIL.

The fact that a muslim tried to bomb us in OUR OWN SOIL in times square.

  • @jimmykong57 - You have made me see the light. This "mega-mosque" as you call it is the end of America as we know it. All these Muslim terrorist are going to gather at this MEGA-MOSQUE and they are going to take over america. I better get my Burqa ready... that is if I'm not killed by this group of hateful, muslims terrorist (or am I being redundant? are all muslims terrorists?) I'm sure they will then converge at their Mega-mosque, march down to Ground Zero and celebrate their victory.

  • @Guitargirl6382 6. UK muslim Reid tried to bomb plane w shoe bomb 7. muslim Shahzad tried to car bomb Time Square 8. US muslim Jose Padilla aided in radioactive dirty bomb plot 9. foiled bombing of nyc subway by muslims 10. jihand & bomb making instructions were found in some mosques in brooklyn & queens 11. US embassy bombing by muslims in Kenya 12. US embassy bombing by muslims in Nairobi 13. US embassy bombing by muslims in Tanzania 14. US embassy bombing by muslims in Dar es Salaam
  • @Guitargirl6382

Am I lying? No. These are the FACTS! You should be angry at the MUSLIM EXTREMISTS that commit these acts NOT AT THE VICTIMS WHO STILL FEEL PAIN.

  • @Guitargirl6382

Oh and I almost forgot .. in the koran they call for jihad against the infidels (meaing us). Sure .. Wow. islam is such a peaceful religion ; ]

  • @Guitargirl6382

In case you don't know, since your so ignorant, in most of the muslim countries in the middle east :

    1. homosexuality is punishable by death

    2. criticism of muhammad is punishable by death - no freedom of speech that the muslims here enjoy.

    3. you are forbidden to pray when you have your period! yeah you!

    4. non-muslims have little to no rights in their country - not like the muslims who enjoy freedom here.

  • @jimmykong57 So what is your point? That we should ban Islam? Who cares what people do in other countries or faiths? This is America. Aren't we supposed to be a "free" country? An example of freedom to the rest of the oppressed world?

As far as your criticism of Islam- I agree- it is archaic and senseless. The only thing I can think of that is JUST AS archaic and senseless is the New and Old Testaments of the bible. You consider those books to be appopriate, but not the Koran? You are a moron.

  • @Stunpage2

In case you forgot, it was 19 muslims that destroyed WTC & killed 2699 people. We're not saying they cant build a mosque but why so close to Ground Zero? There are only a handful of muslims living there. I lived here for 20 years. I'm a resident. I'm not religious. I don't agree w some beliefs of christians but I dont mind them building a church because they don't declare jihad on innocent people. What is comes down to is YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR OUR DEAD!! Build it in a muslim hood!!

  • @jimmykong57 You are a racist bigot. You enjoy the right to be stupid and spew your ignorance, yet you call to deny the right of other Americans to practice their religion wherever they want? How can you not see the hypocricy in your words? Oh... maybe because you are a mental midget?

  • @Stunpage2

Just because I dont want a mosque in MY neighborhood makes me a bigot? I never knew saying NO to something is not even allowed. The same right you claim also allows me to say NO; its my freedom of speech to say NO. I say NO because we still have pain and anger in our hearts from 9/11. I say NO because its NO because its disrespectful to, us, the victims. I guess you have no problem w a KKK church built on your neighborhood? After all it is their constitutional right!

  • @jimmykong57

A muslim community center with the intent of promoting cross-cultural awareness and tolerance, headed by an individual with a long record of promoting positive cultural exchange is NOT akin to a KKK church. While there are certainly KKK churches in the US, as there are also christian neo-nazis, we don't protest against the establishment of a new christian church by deploying that kind of rhetoric. We recognize that extremists are not the rule, by definition.

  • @ralfa11

Christians didn't declare jihad against us! Muslims did! Is it not true that the WTC bombers were linked to the blind cleric in a brooklyn mosque that declared jihad & promoted violence against us. That so-called mosque is supposedly a "house of worship that promoted understanding & tolerance" too and look what happened.

  • Why doesn't Lazio spend some energy questioning why we haven't been able to rebuild ANYTHING on the ACTUAL Ground Zero yet? It's been 9 years. It's really sad. DO something CONSTRUCTIVE for a change instead of spreading fear and hatred!

  • When we gave up our liberty (allowing warrantless wire-tapping) after 9/11- I was shocked. When we went to war with no real evidence- I was shocked. When our country defended the use of torture- I was shocked. When we began detaining prisoners indefinetely with no trial- I was shocked. When our country elected GW Bush a 2ND TIME- I was shocked. When the majority of Americans are for prohibiting freedom of Religion (one of the cornerstones of this country's establishment)- I am no longer shocked.

  • @Stunpage2 It's hard to be proud of this country anymore. The rich get richer, the middle class disappear, the poor are looked at as parasites. Religious bigotry is "mainstream". Nothing surprises me anymore...

  • black people are allowed to sit ANYWHERE on the bus. but it would be in POOR TASTE if they were to sit too close to white people. the white people may be scared they may be killed/raped, as all black people are prone to such actions, especially when you remember what happened in the urban riots of the 60s and the OJ Simpson case. out of SENSITIVITY, they should not sit within 4 seats of white people. it's the patriotic thing to do. 9/11. these colors do NOT run. tea party patriotz

  • @xSecretRainx its part of ground zero.human remains and parts of the jet used to destroythe towers was found on top of the building that once occupied the land. white christians didnt hijack the planes and crash them into buildings eight years after they faile d to knock them down with a bomb in a van. wake up

  • I guess First Amendment rights only apply to minority groups Rick ;)

  • i love how the highest rated comments are disparaging comments. this douchebag has no fucking chance at all of winning ahahaha

  • Terrorism is the use of fear or violence for political gain. Radical Islam does not have a monopoly on terrorist tactics, looking at the cowardly actions of Republicans and Democrats who put the next election, ahead of their duty to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. We don't call YMCA's churches, and its not at ground zero. You either support Freedom, or you don't. The use of Nine Eleven for politcal gain is sick. WTF happened to the hunt for Bin Laden?? LOLZ

  • Basically, this is a debate that has been stirred up by the right wing in order to take the focus off of the real issues (which they can not hold up their side on). This happens every election cycle as a way to "rally the base". Same as abortion, or gay rights, or obscenity, etc.

All of you against the Mosque are just ignorant pawns. Not to mention you are also anti-American.

  • @Stunpage2

Harry Reid, Howard Dean and the Muslim Miss USA who are opposed to this Mosque as you call it (I thought Leftists said it wasn't a mosque? It's a "community center") are just ignorant pawns. Not to mention they are also anti-American.

  • @TheShadowmasterUS Harry Reid and Howard Dean are typical politicians. If the opinion polls swayed in favor of Freedom of Religion, they would be all for it.

Miss America- I don't know about that idiot- to be honest, I don't care either. Beauty Pageants are enjoyed by stupid people, stupid people are against the Mosque, she wants to keep her little bit of fame-- see where i'm going with this?

  • @TheShadowmasterUS They are supporting an un-American idea in order to retain their power or fame. They are bowing to the masses of thugs and idiots. It's also likely that ms. aMerica is an idiot herself!

  • @Stunpage2

The Muslim Miss USA is opposed to the mosque. Democrats like Harry Reid and Sheldon Silver say it should be moved. Are they anti-American, too?

  • black people are allowed to sit anywhere on the bus, but if they sit next to white people, the white people may be scared they may be killed/raped, as all black people are prone to such actions. out of sensitivity, they should not sit within 4 seats of white people. it's the patriotic thing to do. 9/11

  • @poop121

you are such an ignorant douchebag.

  • @jimmykong57

we've heard that one already. what else you got?

  • @poop121

Typical stupid answer from a stupid ignorant person, whos not even a resident of our neighborhood, who knows nothing of Tribeca or Battery Park City. All your responses are lame, ignorant, and obsurd like you!

  • @jimmykong57

obsurd? haha. you sure you don't read the daily news?

  • @jimmykong57

Harry Reid, Howard Dean and the Muslim Miss USA are all ignorant, stupid, stupid, bigot, racist, Islamophobic, hate-mongers because they oppose this mosque project.

  • tim mcveigh was a christian. NO CHURCHES less than 4 blocks away from FEDERAL BUILDINGS. it would be BAD TASTE and it OFFENDS me

  • @poop121 Also- no pedophile Catholic churches anywhere near children! Catholic churches near children offends me.

  • @poop121

    poop4brains

McVeigh did not do what he did in the name of Christianity. You are a moron. Do your homework before you open your ignorant Lieberal mouth.

  • On July 7, 2010, Rick Lazio stood up for the (bigoted) people of New York

  • As a New Yorker (who lost a friend in the World Trade Center on 9/11) and an American, I'd like to say that I still support the constitutional right of freedom of religion. I can't believe we are even debating this. If you consider yourself at war with Islam, then, yes, I understand why you would be against this mosque. Otherwise, you have no argument.

If you want to ban all religions from building places of worship wherever they please, then that would be fine with me too. Until then, shut up.

  • @Stunpage2

According to your logic then japan should build a shinto shrine next to the Arizona right? But they won't because they know in their hearts its disrespectful, distasteful and would cause an uproar. But you fanatics don't care anyway. Mosque founder claims healing and understanding as the cause but refuses to understand or empathize with the victims affected in the area. He can build it but I guarantee that our community and politicians will give them hell from start to end!

  • @jimmykong57 My logic is very simple. Free country- do what you want with your property.

Your logic is nonsense. "Islam" is not a country that attacked us on 9/11. We were attacked by a handful of radical Islamic zealots. To prevent them from opening the Mosque is reincorcing these radical zealots message that the West is at war with all Islam. By the way things are going with this debate, it is starting to appear that America does consider itself at war with Islam.

  • @Stunpage2

In case you haven't noticed islam is already at war with us with jihad. We are infidels to them! What other religion do you know claims a holy war against us? None except islam.

  • @jimmykong57 Christians believe the same thing about "infidels". I've been told i'm going to hell since i don't believe in the magic Jesus stuff. If you think your religion is better than theirs... good for you. This is still America though and you don't have a right to tell someone where they may practice their religion.

  • Lazio, you are a piece of crap. How dare you exploit 9-11 and rile up hate against Muslims to score cheap political points? Luckily you don't have a chance in hell at winning this election. Hope your conscience forgives you.

  • When we display racial and religious intolerance because of terrorists acting out of hatred for our tolerance and freedoms, the terrorists have won. Rick Lazio, you're an ass.

  • @DelSenno

I disagree. Its very distasteful and bad judgement to build it so close to Ground Zero. There are only a handful of muslims living in that area. I can understand if there are a large pop. of muslims there but there are very little. So why build it there? Think about that. He claims healing & understanding but it will only anger us and he knows that. No one said he cant build a mosque but not there!! Build it in brooklyn or queens where the most of the muslims live.

  • @jimmykong57

don't you believe in the "free market" and supply and demand? there's a demand for it, clearly, so why not let it be built?

"There are only a handful of muslims living in that area. "

what is this based on? and what kind of a logic is this?

  • @poop121

Did you not read all my posts? I've lived in Tribeca for 20 years. I hang out at Batter Park City, go shopping at the farmers market on Greenwich Street, drink & dine at the bars and restaurants in the area. And I can tell you from personal experience that there are only a handful of muslim living there. I was also a victim during 9/11. I saw horrible deaths upclose and was evacuated for 4 months. We almost lost everything. As a resident I DO NOT WANT THIS MOSQUE HERE PERIOD!!

  • @poop121

And by the way there is no demand. There are only a handful of muslim living in the area. You are obviously not a resident and don't even know the demographics of the area so basically you don't know what you're talking about.

  • im a resident of ny, actually. i know people who died in the wtc. i was outside of park51 a week ago to the day. there is a demand. muslims own the property and worship there now. they want to build a new mosque. there's a demand. don't you believe in the free market? why interfere with it? since when do you have to have a certain percentage of people in a neighborhood to build a building? that's so arbitrary.

  • @poop121

Listen douchbag .. You're not a resident of Tribeca or Battery Park City. Its as simple as that. You don't live here. I live here. When you live in any neighborhood you get to know who actually lives here and the demographics of it either thru other neighbhors or friends that you meet in the hood. There are a lot of residents here that are my friends that are against this mosque! You're are ARBITRARY!!

  • @jimmykong57

I'm not a resident of those neighborhoods. It really shouldn't matter, though. Why oppose it if there's a demand for a mosque? Now you have to live within a certain perimeter of a house of worship for you to attend service there? Bullshit! And I'm so glad you know other ignorant people in your neighborhood, that proves oh so much!

  • @poop121

What amazes me is how ignorant you are and making ignorant assumptions of the neighborhood I live in? And you don't even live here so how would you know? You're the one who's making an ass out of yourself.

Here are that statistics on the victims of 9/11. If you noticed the foreign muslims that died accounted for 11 victims total out of the 2,976 fatalities.

  • @jimmykong57

polls say that most people who live in the immediate area do not have a problem with the mosque.

  • @poop121

Thats not true. I don't know what polls your looking at but I guarantee you its incorrect.

  • @jimmykong57

daily news - 46% manhattanites support mosque construction/ 36% oppose

    nydailynews. com/ny_local/2010/07/01/2010-07-01_more_than_half_of_new_york_voters_oppose_ground_zero_mosque_plan_poll. html

  • @poop121 It's a good thing that abiding by the constitution is not based on opinion polls! Stupid Americans like you would have given up all of our rights out of fear long ago.

  • @Stunpage2

All opponents of the Mosque of the 9/11 Martyrs are evil, stupid, bigots who should be sent to Political Re-education Camps!!!!!

  • @TheShadowmasterUS It's amusing how you right-wingers are such purists when referring to the Constitution or The Bible when the topic relates to gun rights, corporate regulation, freedom of [Christian] religion, abortion, taxes, etc. But as soon as an issue comes along that doesn't fall in to your favor, you are perfectly willing to wipe your asses with these documents. Pathetic...

You insult "liberals" for defending the constitution when it defends those who are different from you.

  • @poop121

if you read ny daily news than you're an uneducated fool. a couple of years ago they did a study on newspaper readers of their education level. wall street journal and nytimes had college level reading while ny post and ny daily news had HS or below reading level. your answer says it all - ignorance.

  • @jimmykong57

i don't read the ny daily news. it's worse than the post. but that doesn't mean they can't conduct a legitimate poll.

  • @poop121

If you go to wikipedia website and look up "tribeca" it will show the demographics. I don't see muslim or arabs in the statistic unless you're refering to the 1.66% from other races.

  • @jimmykong57

you're probably correct. but so what? it needs to be a majority muslim neighborhood for there to be a mosque there? they can't go there after work? lost of people work in the area. you must prove that you have a sizeable population in a neighborhood to establish a house of worship there? where does all these rules come from?

  • Comment removed

  • @poop121

The zoning commission still has to give a ruling also. And if there is enough of a political uproar they will rule against it. Its already a national debate and its going to get bigger!! You have no clue how the city works do you? typical.

  • @jimmykong57

muslims can be any race. commonly black or middle-eastern (which would probably be classified as asian). for tribeca:

    7.96% Asian

    4.89% African American

  • @poop121

Most asians living there are chinese and japanese. They're buddhists. Most of the blacks living there are baptists, christians, or lutherans. Stop trying to exaggerate the numbers. You're a liar!

  • @jimmykong57

You're using anecdotal evidence. Show me raw numbers. I'm sure by your encounters with black people at the supermarket you can gauge what religion they are! And again, let's say you're right and there are NO Muslims at all in the neighborhood (which I find hard to believe). What does that prove? There's a rule saying you need to live in a neighborhood to worship there? What about all the people who come in to work in the area? They can't worship after work?

  • @poop121

No but it obviously shows why they want to build a mosque there. Spite!! The true reason for the mosque.

  • @jimmykong57

I really don't think that's the reason. The congregation has been in lower Manhattan. There is a mosque 2 blocks away from the site that has been there since the WTC finished construction.

  • @jimmykong57

Why build it there? Because they own the property and that's where they want it. PERIOD. In a free country, that's how it works.

  • @Stunpage2

Yes they have right to build it. But I can guarantee we, the victims, and the rest of our nation will hate you even more. It will anger us and IT WILL BE A NATIONAL ISSUE. Karma - You don't respect or empathize w our feelings we won't respect yours!! Its already gotten national attention and its going to get bigger. Go ahead build it.

  • @jimmykong57

there's no reason to empathize with bigotry and ignorance. and your position is not held by all 9/11 families, anyway, including muslims killed during the attacks and less reactionary people. they're putting a memorial to the victims in the community center, anyway. did you know that?

  • @DelSenno

Its not religious intolerance when the religion, islam in this case, calls for jihad or violence to others in the name of that religion. How often do you read about christians, buddhists, hindu, etc call for violence? Yes. it happens but rare. How often do your read about islam calling for jihad or violence? Hundreds of times in the past 10 years. That says it all.

  • @xSecretRainx

thats right 19 of them were muslim> the 19 that caused it you fucking m,oron

  • These idiots do not get a say, lol.

  • @xSecretRainx

Its going to be a mosque, plain and simple. They added the "community center" so that it will make it easier to get the ok from the community. They admitted that they needed a place for muslims to pray. I've lived Tribeca for 20 years and I can tell you that there are very little muslims living in the area (a handful). The only muslims I can think of are the local merchants but they don't live here. Makes you wonder why they want a mosque by Ground Zero??

  • No Mosque! Are you joking, why right next to Ground Zero? Why not anywhere else? Why right there? Opening date 9/11/12? Slap in the face. Rick Lazio is the man, politicians should follow.

  • We know what happened on September 11th. We don't need any video footage

  • BRB, donating money to Cuomo's campaign.

Mr. Lazio you are fear-mongering and preying upon people's xenophobia, playing them like fiddles. To use footage of that terrible day is disgusting. You do not speak for all New Yorkers, and you certainly do not speak for this one. To reject tolerance and religious equality is to reject all the ideals upon which this country was founded. The terrorists do not need to attack our freedom, we have idiots like you to do it for them.

  • "People of New York"? Don't you dare speak for me, Rick Lazio. It's not a mosque, it's not on Ground Zero, Muslims are Americans, Muslims died on 9/11, there are at least two churches and one mosque in the area (the churches closer than the community center will be), and it is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING that you used footage of the attack in your CAMPAIGN VIDEO, you sad, sick hate-monger.

  • By the way, I'm a New Yorker too & I'm definitely in support of the community center being built.

  • Oh & one more thing-- thanks for including footage of the 9/11 terrorist attack in your campaign video, Rick. That was really classy. Idiot.

  • @mattyp4

You're a dhimmi moron, as well as being a New Yorker. Your stupid Leftist talking points about strip clubs are pathetic.

The issue is, are the developers of this MOSQUE connected to radical Islamists.

The fact is, the Iman is connected to the same Muslim Brotherhood that spawned Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden. He refuses to denounce Hamas. He has not ruled out accepting money from Iran and Hamas.

    You Libtards are disgracefully ignorant.

  • @TheShadowmasterUS Stop resorting to name-calling just because you happen to disagree with someone. You'll be taken more seriously that way.

  • @mattyp4

I call you what you are. Gullible Liberal fools. You must be fought and stopped. Liberals "tolerated" Hitler in the 1930's. They believed his lies about how he wanted "peace." The result was tens of millions of dead in WW2 in Europe. Naive, childish Liberals who are too stupid to see through the lies of the Ground Zero mosque "developers" are a danger to the lives and freedom of Americans.

  • @TheShadowmasterUS Keep telling yourself that, Crazy. You sound like a lunatic, frothing at the mouth. You're paranoid & ignorant & unless you live in Lower Manhattan, you should really mind your business. Stop fear-mongering. Go outside & get some fresh air.

  • @mattyp4

Ignorance is the exclusive property of Liberals like you. You know nothing of history and cannot learn the lessons of it. This Trojan Horse mosque project is every Americans business. You simple minded Leftists have no idea that you are supporting a radical Muslim who has conned you into believing he's "moderate." There's a Liberal sucker born every minute.

  • @TheShadowmasterUSHe was moderate enough to be appointed by George Bush. Do you have any evidence whatsoever that he is a "radical" who is establishing some sort of "Trojan Horse"?Even if he was a "radical" as you call him, if he hasn't committed any crimes, he has every right to do whatever he wants with the property that he is in control of. I'm not in support of ANY religion, but I do believe in the rights clearly defined in our Constitution. I can't believe what has happened to this country.

  • Comment removed

  • @mattyp4

I hope you get beheaded by one of your Muslim friends, you stupid Dhimmi. (Dhimmi? What's that says the Libtard?) Maybe a female member of your family will get her clitioris cut off for good measure. Wouldn't you be happy! Oh, I know! Only a "small handful" of Muslims are crazy. LOL!!!!

  • You realize it's not a Mosque, right? It's a community center. And It's two blocks north of ground zero, on a street running parallel to the old World Trade Center site, not actually at Ground Zero. And, did you also know that there were Muslim emergency workers and Muslims in the building who lost their lives? How stupid can YOU be?

  • @Guitargirl6382

Just because there were some muslim victims or emergency workers does not negate the fact that it was muslim radicals who bombed WTC w a truck bomb, destroyed WTC planes, flew a plane into the pentagon, tried to fly a plane into the white house but failed. All this plus more in the name of jihad! Truth: Islam is a violent religion. How stupid can you be?

  • @Guitargirl6382

The mosque founder added the "community center" so that they can get the ok from the community board. There is already a huge community center on 120 Warren St (2 blocks away). So why build another one? To serve the muslims residents that account for less than 2% of my community. Its a mega mosque period! Muslims 9/11 victims accounted less than a dozen out of the 2669 deaths (look up 9/11 victims on wikipedia)

  • @jimmykong57

You're missing the whole point and you know it! Not all muslims are terrorist but .. the

    FACTS are ..

    1. WTC was destroyed by muslims!

    2. WTC was bombed before 9/11 by muslims linked to Brooklyn mosque "blind cleric"!

    3. Pentagon was bombed w plane hijacked by muslims!

    4. a Hijacked plane by muslims destroyed because passengers revolted!

    5. US muslim soldier Hasan shot & killed 30 people. Anwar al-Awlaki declares him a hero to "fighting against the U.S. army is an Islamic duty"

  • This is not about freedom of religion. Its about sensitivity to the victims (me included) and their families. Ground Zero is a grave site. Building the mosque so close to it is disrespectful and a slap in the face to us! How stupid can you be not to understand that?!? Say NO TO THE MOSQUE!!

  • @jimmykong57 I feel your pain, but this won't be on the actual site of the former World Trade Center. Also, as far as the entire AREA being sacred grounds, I hope the people opposed to this community center also fight to remove the strip club & lingerie store that's currently located 3 blocks from Ground Zero. Those have been there for quite some time (though not as long as the OTHER, actual mosque on Warren St) & I haven't heard a peep about a strip club resting atop a grave site.

  • should there be no church built near the FBI head quarters in Oklahoma, where acts of a fanatic Christian took the lives of many innocent civilians?

  • @smalikmd

McVeigh did not do what he did in the name of Christianity, you Liberal ignoranus.

  • How could that Jamaican man be sooooo racist LOL.
