Hey Everybody! I have just released my new album 'Unhinged' which is inspired by great games such as the Silent Hill series. You can stream or download the full album for free on my youtube channel!
Ahhh this is it man. This really tears me up inside. When this plays, I don't know if I am to smile at the beautiful melody or to cry. Homecoming has evoked so much in me that all the other Silent Hill hasn't been able to before.
All you Homecoming dissers that are still whining about Team Silent & hating Homecoming's combat etc. can just piss on yourselves. This game is just different. You're supposed to play it and let it evoke emotions in you. That's what true gameplay is all about.
@spiritfired I do believe all the SH games are very magnificent. I'd never say this game was a bad one. I love the story of SH homecoming. Although, I couldn't help crying when I visited the cemetary. Since SH homecoming is about the slaughtering of innocent children, I do believe you must love children to understand it.
I loved this game... I really did! I haven't finished SH 1 and 2 yet though. I am about to start playing SH 3 when I've finished the 1st and the 2nd.
@LadyDoloris :) Aww. Really? When witchcraft played (it plays when you killed your parents), Alex was left there standing in front of his mom's body, my body literally shook and tears just come down: The only time his parents showed love to him was just seconds before they died. Others like when he came to the end of the road only to find his brat brother killed by his own hand, it was sad too. I also liked the cemetary experiences. I was just shouting inside for Alex to say something! Poor boy!
@spiritfired Yes. The games are very depressing, but still so... beautiful. When reading what those stones had to say, I just couldn't hold it back any longer. I have a hard time dealing with the death of children, even the fictional ones. :/
@spiritfired I understand you. :O I hesitated alot before ending the mother's life. Then I realized that I'd done the right thing when the machine teared her apart...
@LadyDoloris And if you observed with Alex, he'll say "I should have helped her out of the machine". And when you don't kill her, the observation would be "Why didn't I shoot her?! I was weak." Lol. Talk about double-whammy depression. There's no way out man!! XD
I really hate fictional children deaths too. This one somehow just written on the tombstones just tears me up. So sad. Imagine them dying in fear shouting "Why!?" I shudder at the thought. Especially at Scarlett's. That's just creepy.
Yes, I remember reading what had happened to them in the end... it was really depressing. I think the inscriptions read something like this: "We, the Bartlett family, sacrificed our child to the earth" and "We, the Fitch family, sacrificed our child to the knife"... and so on.
Personally, I really do fear being buried alive... so I thought the Bartlett boy's death was the worst. Although, I felt more depressed when fighting Scarlet's doll than the Sepulcher. :/
@LadyDoloris Oh, GOD, THAT! When I saw the ritual place where the windows thing showed the words, everything became clear and I was like screaming in a high pitch in my mind. At that moment I was hoping after all 4 were revealed a cinematic would play or something to just let Alex SAY something or so. I personally think the knife is the most agonized :S.
@LadyDoloris Hey I have a question. Do you remember the place where I said Alex stuck his knife into a switch and the window bled down to reveal each of the four families' sacrificial duty? Was that in Silent Hill or in Shepherd's Glen?
I think I'll have this song played at my funeral. It's so poignant yet beautiful.

@spiritfired Yeah, it was really depressing.
Well, I personally fear the "out of oxygen" experience, so I fear being buried alive the most. :O
