Dear Friends: Multiple plaintiffs have filed a federal civil rights complaint to block resumption of MIC production at the Bayer Cropscience plant in Institute, WV. The M.I.C. Legal Fund, needs money for litigation costs! Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. We set up a PayPal account for this endeavor. Any amount is appreciated!!
The CSB lead investigator on the Bayer incident, John Vorderbrueggen says: Talking about hypothetical things that dont occur is not meaningful to a past event. We have to address what the future is, thats our purpose, not what could have happened. What could have happened is that the whole facility could have burned to the ground from fenceline to fenceline. Do we need to talk about that? No, because it didnt happen.
On that night I checked the NOAA site and the winds carried that cloud of toxins North West up and into Canada.
If we the people can follow the logic that public safety comes first shouldn't the EPA and Health Canada have the same concern's.
fyi:There is a bill going through your government that extends your Bill Of Rights to Corporations. A non human structure has rights, man o man god help us all!
I haven't heard of anyone taking blood samples or offers of compensation. No one expects to get cancer from the incident but it could be possible. I wonder why these health questions aren't being asked?
They continue to laugh at us when we say we're sick. My mom who has never smoked in her life has been diagnosed with heart disease and lung disease. My next door neighbor is waiting on a heart transplant. Bayer laughs and pays a lot of people off.
We have not been compensated. Most of my neighbors have died of horrible cancers and neurological diseases. (I am from a stone's throw away from that plant) Every time we've talked about it, it's called "a coincidence". They are an evil, evil corporation. I don't understand why people continue to believe their lies!
Was any MIC released into the environment?

@youngdones Unfortunately Bayer's air monitors were not working at the time of the explosion so we will never know if M.I.C leaked or not.

Bayer Crop-Science will have to shell out 143 thousand dollars in fines related to the explosion that killed two Bayer workers almost two years ago.
A deal was quietly reached in mid Feburary by Bayer lawyers and the U.S. Department of Labor.
It is now awaiting final approval by OSHA.
Under the deal, OSHA dropped four of the original 13 citations and classified another citation as "serious" instead of a repeated violation.

That stay in place warning is a little strange with the chemicals know to be in there the warning should be 'RUN DOWNWIND'.
The people living upwind had to be exposed to a cocktail of poison's is there any blood samples being analyzed.
Will those people get compensated when the cancers and other symptoms manifest.
This is just a besides, carbon is the new evil in our air they are going to tax us for it? 'Cap and Trade'.
Why are these chemical company's allow to pump poison directly into the air
