  • That little machine is cool and creepy at the same time...I would have to cover up that face it has got as for some reason it remindes me of Deliverance....Weeeeee! Squeel like a pig boy!

  • pretty good for your first try! ;)

  • plug in a guitar man!

  • Looks like some horrifying robot torture

  • wow that is sum kooky shit

  • you should try a moogerfooger freq box with the slicer

  • This is awesome. Thanks for posting!

  • thats badass!

  • listen to "health - die slow" live at pianos for a great example

  • @TheNachtschwaermer listen to them for a great example of pretty much every type of pedal ever hahaha

  • @TheNachtschwaermer health are awesome! you know your stuff :D

  • Wow. That's really cool. So simple, but the possibilities are infinite.

  • and mostly unusable!!!

  • it kinda reminds me of how daft punk manipulate sounds when their doing live gigs very cool!

  • I just had a multi orgasmic reaction watching this , just AWESOME demo!!!

  • It's very cool seeing the thingamaloop used in an overtly musical way like this. Sure it's a noisemaker, but noisemakers should definitely get harnessed like this : )

  • SORPRENDENTE, UN APLUSO, Porfavor

  • is it possible to get the sound in min. MP3 320KBPS? For use as samples...

  • of course - just run it into a computer and record it... easy

  • read my comment blow dude...

  • WOW :D

  • that was great! the first time i've seen either effect used properly :)

  • that was...epic...i guess....

  • feel violated

  • So Blake.. where'd the thingamagoop come from? Dang..It feels like the thang is LOOkin' at me in the demo! Unsettling..

a little! But- FUN demo! Shows a nice alternative use for the Slicer! Just got one meself.. makes me think I need to run some other things thru it besides a guitar!

  • a thingamagoop is that little cute noise machine on the left...awesome toy!!!

  • on the left? do you study medicine?

  • That's really funny.

  • what in the heck is a thingamagoop?

  • it's the little box with a face on... on the nose there is a light sensitive sensor making noise whenever it senses light, and on the knobs and switches you adjust the rate of light coming from the diode, the pitch of the noise etc.

  • can you run the thingamagoop through a feedback loop pedal?

and then have thingamagoop and guitar at once?

  • That's rad. I'm going to get a Slicer to run a keyboard through!

  • The slicer is a great idea!!!

  • Awesome.^^

  • Great! Is the Slicer all you hoped it would be? I'm very interested in this pedal.

  • it's really cool to make a rhythm out of chaotic sounds or pad-sounds. i don't know, if it is so great for guitar.

but that's the old mistake of BOSS i think, they develop stuff, that they build for blues guitarists etc. and in the end it's more the soundscapy/electro people using it.

like it was with the loop station.

  • Blake.. actually .. it IS pretty darn cool for guitar... I like that it can make a guitar sound like something else. I don't think BOSS made this JUSt for guitar players. Like you, I think people are gonna figure out that you can do a LOT of

different things w/ it. I like that it creates strong rhythmic grooves even if you don't have a drummer.

  • @blakefielding I disagree, I think they knew who they were making this for, otherwise they wouldn't even develope stuff like this.

  • verdammt! ich brauch auch so'n slicer! ;-)

    total geil!

  • Scon habe! Toller Geräte!

    Los!
