I had no idea there was a video to this song. Not one of my favorite songs..But I still and will always LOVE Dionne Warwick. And her singing with Jeffrey Osborne, What a lovely combination. (smile)
Thank you very much for posting. Another one of those sweet and smooth light jazz / pop songs that made the 80s and 90s such a nice time to just turn on the car radio. .....
I heard this song driving to work 5.30am this morning on Wave Radio 94.7 in chilly Totonto and it knocked me for six....first thing I did when I got in was look it up on youtube..thank you for posting kind sir!!! Amazon next stop to buy the cd!!!!
i used to hear this driving to and from work too but back in late 1987 - early spring 1988 when it was all over the radio. song makes me think of where i used to work. place is still there but occupied by a different company.
Love this song and Jeffrey Osborne, but Dionne....ugh. Never liked her. She can sing but it's hard to watch that crazy looking mouth of hers. She's also not a nice person and has a lot of disdain for white people.
where is there any proof dionne dislikes white people when most of her fans were white and a live in boyfriend was white? dionne's black children dislike white people but i doubt she does.
It appears to me that Ms. Warwick was getting long in the tooth, aesthetically speaking, and yet, her voice was OK. Jeffery, on the other hand looked fine. Overall, an average ballad from the 80's.
@The096757 You're wrong. Osborne has had a couple of AC hits the most notable being "On The Wings of Love." This song and The Woo Woo Song also scored as hits on the Pop Charts.
what a great duet and great song

I love the song. But the first line is funny, especially coming from her. This is before The Psychic Friends.

the swaeter is good but jeffrey osborn should not have been in this, only phantom backup singers and it would have been another huge hit for dionne.
The096757 1 year ago
@The096757 You've got to be kidding! Jeffrey Osborne is one of the great voices of that era!

@wp8954
jeffrey osbone is only a r&b artist not an adult contemporay artist. this song was adult contemporary. dionne is a crossovver artist osborne isn't.
