@rocksparadox The treads themselves, you're right. However, if you look at the actual armor on the Renegade Mammoth Tank, they're different lengths. But over-all the treads are the same. I tried to match that but it just looked awful, so I made them the same size in everything.

Not to mention the extremely stupid live action cutscenes. I don't have a problem with C&Cs use of live action cutscenes, they add a charm to the game. But Red Alert 2's were so over-the-top they were stupid.

It was a decent enough game, just too much dumb stuff.

I have mixed opinions on Sun, I enjoyed it, but didn't like it (Does that make sense?)

I didn't really like RA2, it was too silly. I don't made games being silly, but it just really ruined RA2 for me. And the expansion pack was ridiculous.

I LOVED Zero Hour though.

Played the demo of C&C3 on the 360 and it was great.

I liked RA2 however, because it had all the tactical and strategic combo's that make a GREAT RTS.

Generals+ ZH , I had 200+ wins in Generals multiplayer... 4 star general.. lot of fun playing it, and then I quit because it got CHEESY. Looked at RA3...FUCK ra3 because the units are from fairytales.

Your post made almost no sense. Anyway. Red Alert was supposed to be a prequel to the C&C series, hence Kence's appearance in Red Alert.

Which, more or less, is why the Mammoth Tank "appears" in C&C1, then Renegade. After Red Alert 2, they dropped the connection and made Red Alert its own universe, so obviously the Apocalshit Tank is a natural evolution of the Mammoth design.

Also, Generals does not have a Mammoth Tank. It has a tank like it, but it sucks.

The Mammoth Tank originally appeared in Tiberian Dawn (The FIRST C&C game) owned by the GDI.

Then it reappeared in Red Alert, which was set up/intended to be a Prequel to the first C&C game, owned by the Soviets.

It later reappeared in Tiberian Sun, as a hidden unit on the final GDI level. It was possible to add it to the game via editing the Rules.ini file.

RA was way above any game in C&C universe, but RA2 is in my opinion the worse game in the series, RA3 being second last.

I just realy dispised how RA2 annhialated the canon of RA1. All of a sudden there are Americans (RA1 was betwen Europe and Soviet Union, no americans), Kane vanishes, evreything is trying to be child friendly (no blood, weaksauce story etc.)

Actually, TECHNICALLY Apoctank is correct. The original creators of C&C said that Red Alert and TD were meant to be one universe. Hence Kane's appearance at the end of Red Alert.

I sort of used the Renegade Mammoth Tanks model as a slight basis. There probably *are* some differences between the GDI and Soviet, but it was the only one I could find close up that I could study. Plus they're close enough, you know?
