  • Do you have to add the colors to the water every time you dip a nail in?

  • @IamMe4662

yes.... she sad that in the "green video" and is logic :D

each finger and even more times if you don't get it in the way you wanted :) quite a job

  • @IamMe4662 yes, although depending on the design you can dip more than one at a time =)

  • what is the water temperature?

  • @shortymarleth it's room temperature filtered water =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues How you put the adhesive tape around your finger?

  • @MrsAyniaxGaga check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • that looks pretty but not as spiral water marble(8)

  • Rawr. 4:36

  • Can you do this with 1 color?

  • @walknfaith92 well, I suppose, but you wouldn't get a design =)

  • I tried this a little while ago, And i used the scotch tape so my fingure wouldnt get messy, but when i tried to get the tape off it pulled the polish off my nail too... Any tips?

  • @MsLoVeLiKeWoE15 check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply & remove it =)

  • my colors never spread? what sohuld i do?

  • @marweebee123 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • my problem is the nail polish dries before i can make the design, what should i do with this?

  • @NeyaWasHere every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster

  • what is she using to draw the flower, is that pencil or something ?? if it's not, can i use a pencil instead of that ?? :)

  • @mstar998 it's an orange stick - you can use anything with a fine point =)

  • and what kind of cup is best??? like a plastic or glass?????

  • @HannahLVaughn I use a paper cup =)

  • where do u get the sally hansen nail polish from?? i looked alot of places online and i still didnt find the colors.

  • @HannahLVaughn I get mine usually from walgreens or target =)

  • what as she got the water and polish in?

  • @bambamonkey it's just a paper cup =)

  • this is really pretty :)

  • Sorry my English is approximate. I am fascinating by this nail art. Thanks

  • so beautyfull

  • you're REALLY good at nail art!

  • can I use a toothpick instead of an orange stick?

  • @ally2497 Yes.

  • @ally2497 anything with a fine point will work =)

  • it's doesn't works on mine :/

  • @andreadvkiely Are you using room temperature filtered water? • nice

  • It ok! -_*:

  • This video us okay!-_- but its not one of the great nail desgins and she could do better cause 1st:I believe I u

  • Amazing I love the flower! Beautiful nails. I suck at doing nails. I will try this tonight. What colours are the best in water marble?

  • @pocketfrogprincess16 there really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • why does the water look blue????

  • @peaceluvbiebs123 it's tinted from the green polish =)

  • Whoa, I thought It was a big bowl until I saw her fingers moving it and I was like WHAT THE HECK. But then I realized it was just a cup. haha.

  • That's awesome very creative

  • Im a man, and i find this amazing.

  • Very nice! Very creative.

  • REMEMBER TO KEEP WATER AT ROOM TEMP :P

  • wow it's beautiful!!

  • why don't my nail polishes spread like a bulls eye?

  • @MaddyBabiee Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. • What brand of nail polish do you use most? So I can also buy those.

  • I was looking for this SO long !

  • hi i am having problems as well!! :( i have done them before a couple of times ( not an expert of course) but i have had some common problems as everyone else!! once i get to my 3rd drop it doesn't expand like it does on yours. it takes a whilleee and by the time its expanded the polish is dry and i cant pull on the polish :( what to doo please help!! :)

  • @mix1324 sometimes even colors that each spread on their own don't work well together - you just have to keep trying different colors & different combinations =)

  • Sorry but I have some problems, I hope you can help me to do this nail design :( ... First when I put the first nail polish into the water everything (Y), but when I put the second one, it doesn't expand itself, it just... it's a spot!!! What can I do?!

  • @vevevevevevevevev sometimes even colors that each spread on their own don't work well together - you just have to keep trying different colors & different combinations =)

  • do you have to have white nails before you do it?

  • @cupcakesrule0211 it’s not required, but I always recommend a base coat & also a base color because it helps the marble colors be more opaque & vibrant =)

  • how come the color doesnt "harden" up so fast? mine does :( what kinda water do you use?

  • @flylikeacg every polish dries at a different speed & those that dry fast just aren't very good for marbling - if you can't work any quicker then you have to find colors that dry slower =) Also make sure there's not a fan or anything creating a draft on the water as that can make the polish dry faster. I always use room temperature filtered water

  • You should do a video on how you do your make-up! It's beautiful!

  • Did you ever do water marble wrong sometimes?

    because i do

  • @svhien sometimes, but usually just when I'm doing my tests =)

  • Now I kind of want to quit my job and find work where I'm allowed to have long nails.

  • nice :)

  • This is way too much work for ONE nail at a time ._.

  • @yumireiku I (obviously) disagree, but depending on the design you can dip more than one nail at a time =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I love the designs, I've watched like 30 videos of yours today, but I just don't have the patience to do this. I have a hard enough time just painting my nails XD

  • why does ur water look blue?

  • @batistaerika4 it's tinted from the green polish =)

  • mine just failed miserably and sank to the bottom ¬¬

  • @tasneemrainbow some polish sinks because it’s too dense, other times it is from dripping it from too high up, try to stay close to the surface of the water =) also are you using room temperature filtered water?

  • i love water marble, people stare at my hands and ask me how do i do it, of course i owe it all to you so i link your videos to my friends, now they are all trying, i hope they could do it :)

  • The water must be cold or hot? :)

  • @julyrose2010 I always use room temperature filtered water =)

  • Why does this never work for me :(

  • @MsChas77 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • Dear Simple little pleasures, I am a little scared to water marble, does it ruin your nail polish? Sincerely AlainaLeeMoxley (i love to do nails! :)

  • @AlainaLeeMoxley no - your brush shouldn't actually touch the water, the polish should just drip off =)

  • Mines doesnt happen like that, It happens really bad. :/

  • @tarixy786 Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. • muito perfeito !!!!!!!

  • Have you ever tried to do zebra or cheetah print?

  • @jessica061608ily not with marbling =)

  • you are the queen of watermarbling!

  • Could i use one layer of the design for multiple nails ?? Or would that look messy ?

  • @Soccerrocker20 yes - it all depends on the design you're doing =) I show dipping multiple nails in some of my other vids

  • seems like an excess waist of nail polish

  • @lanaAmour it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops

  • Older woman to my opinion seem trashy with colors with such a design

  • @stephanieklooz11 ... seriously? what does the color of your nails have to do with being trashy? completely aside from the fact that 30 isn't that old LOL

  • Needs a darker red. I like the water marble myself but some colors can be too little girlish. Js.

  • i absolutely love your nails im soo jealous. haha. will does 99 cent nail polish work? and when u dip in ur nails, and then take it out with the designs do u still hafta wait til it dries? or its already dried?

  • @PikaPikaSmiles you can use any brand although not every color works - It’s mostly dry within a few minutes, then I use a quick-drying top coat =)

  • why do you need to clean the sides after u put it in?

  • @popitzit12 otherwise it will stick to your nail & ruin the design =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues oh thanksss.

  • oh cool!!!

  • CUT YOUR NAILS!!!!!

  • @schnulliefee no =P if you don't like don't look

  • It's so sooting to watch the nail polish spread out.. :)

  • do u need to do that for every nail?????

  • @TheDreambelieber for this design yes, others you can dip more than one at a time =)

  • Does the water have to be filtered??

  • @coco2948 I always use room temperature filtered water from a Brita pitcher because most tap water is too hard & the polish will not spread as well. Bottled is also usually OK as long as there are no additives. You can check out my water comparison under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see the difference =)

  • whats in the cup...water...acetone???

  • @sexi2rude1 it's room temperature filtered water =)

  • does the nail polish have to be new?

  • isn't that orange stick-thingy just a piece of cut wood?

  • @whitedreams23 basically, yes =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues haha! i am now using the end of a brush! works just fine ;)

  • i have a problem so the first time i drop the colors it spreads out nicely but when i try to repeat the colors it does not really spread out could it be the nail polish the or the water

  • @ILikeCheese770 could be either - are you using room temperature filtered water? also sometimes even colors that each spread on their own don't work well together - you just have to keep trying different colors & different combinations =)

  • Those are really cute and a very good idea! Thanks for this tutorial! ~Leah

  • Varm or cold water!?

  • @mandoloo96 room temperature filtered water =)

  • Love how the green spreads slowly but the red just wooshes to the side :3

  • WOW!!! THIS IN INCREDIBLE!!!:DDD

  • VERE VERY VERY NICE

  • HOWWW?!?!! ive tried sooooo hard. how do u filter ur water? the filter on the tap faucet? cuz i have that and this still aint workin

  • @tunes0022 I get my filtered water from a brita pitcher =)

  • WOW that is so cool!!

  • do you have to add tape on the finger ? And if you have to , how do you put the tape ? Like all over the finger or what ? (:

  • @TheNaruten it's not required but it's much messier without it - you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • im a dude and i came here to look at the art!

  • Great design! Check out our channel! :D

  • the pink one like expoldes its so cool

  • Does nail polish which are You using is based on water, the contain of them? Because mine polish (I have only few), are'nt making circles, they stay in a point like I put them in, and some are sinking :DD I'm really doing all like You! I watched all Your water marbling videos..

  • @ievoons it's just normal polish, although not all colors work =) also are you using room temperature filtered water?

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I think I was using quite cold water from a well, it's coming straight to my house. :) And I used a clean cup and the water was clean - I was watching - there was no layer. Maybe my polishes isn't working very well.. I will try some time again with new ones, when there will be posobility to by some. :) Thank You for Your responsiveness! :))

  • @ievoons I had this problem at first to but then i put a toothpic in the water before the colours and found it had like a clear layer just on top of the water, one I cleared that it seemed to work fine agiain?

  • can you do this on natural nails that are short

  • @THEWOWZAPOP my nails are natural - if you have short nails you just get less of the design, so it's very important where you dip your nail - check out my short nails marble with my mom as hand model for some tips =)

  • What temperature there should be a water?

  • @leraandalina I always use room temperature filtered water =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues

i see!!!! We very much liked your video!

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thx!!!!!

  • My polish always seems to mess up as I am pulling my nails out of the water. It seems to fold on top of itself... Is this my fault, my polish, or... What?

  • @sasukewoof I think it sounds like you may be using a little too much polish - try using a few less drops. The layer in the water should be very thin & shouldn't have any trouble sticking to your nail =)

  • beautiful! you're a marbling genius!

  • Your so awsome!! love watching your tutorials, theyre so informative and you inspire me to do my nails each week. THANKS ;)

  • is that hot filtred water or cold

  • @DOKYNAILART room temperature =)

  • Compliments!

  • It expands fast. o-o LOL. I love your videos~<3

  • Hi! How do you apply the tape on the fingers? I cant figure it out by myself ehhh....Can you show it, or you did show somevhere it?? Please help me! :)))

You are the greatest nail designer guru on the youtube I've seen!!! Have a nice day!!! :)

  • @ievoons check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • I AM EXTRMLEY IN LOVE WITH YOUR VIDSSS :)

  • can you use diffrent brands none of my nail polish is the same brand?

  • @wildnuncontrollable yes, although not all colors work it's fine to mix brands =)

  • 3:59 Is that glitter I see?

  • @GagaLover2106 I added fairy dust on top of the marble for the finished look =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Oh okay! So, if I finished painting my nails, and just dumped dry glitter on the nail, wouldn't that ruin the look, or would it be okay?

  • @GagaLover2106 well, it depends on the type of glitter - & I would recommend applying it lightly rather than dumping it LOL but it can work just as well as a glitter topcoat =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Ohhh Okay. Woops. No more dumping. O__________O XDD

  • you are so good i wish i was you

  • I love this one alot!!!!! And it works if u use good nail polish , cheap brands just sink down good brands spread like on the video

  • @ilicecreamx3 it does to work you are probably not doing it right...

  • EPIC LIES IT DOESNT EVEN WORK

  • @ilicecreamx3 yeah, I photoshopped the whole vid *eyeroll* & so did every fan who has posted pics on my facebook page =P

  • This looks beautiful!

  • is the water cold?

  • @Kawasoky96 it's room temperature filtered water =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues

    thank you :)

  • @SimpleLuttlePleasues Do you need to touch the water or not? And need your water to be cold or hot?

  • @MsGagaFann the polish should usually just drip off =) I always use room temperature filtered water

  • When you are water marbling do you have to coat your nails with white before you start, or can it be a different color?

  • @peacelovemandyy it doesn't have to be white - it's just the most neutral it doesn't change the color of the marble polish on top of it =)

  • I did a YOUTUBE nail design if anyone wants to take a look! The video is on my channel :)

  • Do you think that this particular design will work on short nails?

  • @yaz101202 yes, although you may not get the whole flower design =)

  • @yaz101202 yes i do it alot
