Although the concept of a sequel is a good idea on paper I really don't see it working. The story ends pretty logically so there'd be no point continuing it. It'd be like making a third Max Pay... OH GOD DAMMIT!!!

i think they hit the nail on the head with this one (awesome landscape, great music library, decent plot, good, humorous dialogue) and a sequel might only tarnish this. the combat and rts feature could have been a little better, but that wasn't my favourite part anyway tbh. what i'm saying is, sometimes its better to have the one, great game instead of a string of slowly degrading sequels. also, yes doviculus falls into the sea, but decapitated and i don't think it affects demons.

If this game had less of the RTS stuff and more of the hack and slash stuff I think it would have been much better. I found the RTS parts to be annoying at best, but I really liked the theme and story.
@magge1997 Yeah, the demons were always a pushover compared to the black tear people. I mean, their already dead, so it takes forever to re-kill them.
I actualy owned that one easily, at the start the AI just spams troops over the bridge, I just threw myself there and kille them with facemelters and spawning beasts, then just put a shitload of troops at the mouth of the bridge while i built the giant tank thingy.
Btw, best cutscene in the game, period :) Even "burn ze other guys" isn't as awsome as this.
@magge1997 They're both pretty easy if you take the time to build the stage to lvl 3 before you take down the towers (or giant eye beasts). Bladehenge Attack is like cheating.
I just barely finished the game on Brütal, and her goons almost made me insane. For this battle I just rushed 2 squads of Roadies to her stage and blew it up... The other 2 times i tried to just go by a regular tactic (eg. loads of troops slowly towards her base) i was wiped out in seconds...

@magge1997 It is, the Deviculous stage battle is more tedious than challenging, I actually failed the Ophelia stage battle once. While with the Deviculous battle, the enemies really don't pose much of a threat when you have more than two areas claimed.
I loved everything about this game but the gameplay. The whole rts style battles sucked. I would have preferred a platformer type of battle system. Where you just run up and start swinging would have made the game much easier and would have made you look forward to battles. Instead I dreaded battling and wound up not finishing the game.
This game was absolutely the best music-based game I have ever played. The music was always perfectly alligned with cutscenes an levels, and the overall game was awesome!! BRUTAL LEGEND FTW

@magge1997 well.. i didnt die once after i realized a great tactic... gather the troops.. mainly cars etc and send them all to the bridge.. get that biggest one (forgot then name)
and use its attack on the two towers .. (i was using the regular arrow from the other car and didnt go anywhere )

I liked this game for the style, music and cast. But the way you had to battle just killed it. I never finished the game because I got sick of trying to beat those stupid battles. it should have been more of a platformer adventure. Would have made the exploration and gameplay way more fun. But as a game about metal and rock it was awesome!

I always loved this scene and the song. I adore how the music pauses when she jumps in and shes floating down in slow motion. That is so cool, the song couldn't express what happened to her any better.
I loved the game for the story, the humor, the look of the world, which was awesome beyond words, and the MOTHERFUCKING MUSIC.
However, I was really put off by the game suddenly deciding to be an RTS after making it look like a straight up action game. I just ended up putting it on easy and playing through it that way cause the rest of the game kicked so much ass.
badass shit song fits perfectly anyways the tip of the battle here is that she really only attacks from the right path so send lots of ppl there hold her off till you get max stage get a lot of guys (roadies,headbangers,razor girls etc) start to push her back wait till your in sight of her stage rally everyone and bombard that stage with everything if you hit with bring it on home or what ever it is basicly over

This game was absolutely the best music-based game I have ever played. The music was always perfectly alligned with cutscenes an levels, and the overall game was awesome!! BRUTAL LEGEND FTW

@magge1997 well.. i didnt die once after i realized a great tactic... gather the troops.. mainly cars etc and send them all to the bridge.. get that biggest one (forgot then name)
and use its attack on the two towers .. (i was using the regular arrow from the other car and didnt go anywhere )

I liked this game for the style, music and cast. But the way you had to battle just killed it. I never finished the game because I got sick of trying to beat those stupid battles. it should have been more of a platformer adventure. Would have made the exploration and gameplay way more fun. But as a game about metal and rock it was awesome!

I always loved this scene and the song. I adore how the music pauses when she jumps in and shes floating down in slow motion. That is so cool, the song couldn't express what happened to her any better.

I loved the game for the story, the humor, the look of the world, which was awesome beyond words, and the MOTHERFUCKING MUSIC.
However, I was really put off by the game suddenly deciding to be an RTS after making it look like a straight up action game. I just ended up putting it on easy and playing through it that way cause the rest of the game kicked so much ass.

badass shit song fits perfectly anyways the tip of the battle here is that she really only attacks from the right path so send lots of ppl there hold her off till you get max stage get a lot of guys (roadies,headbangers,razor girls etc) start to push her back wait till your in sight of her stage rally everyone and bombard that stage with everything if you hit with bring it on home or what ever it is basicly over

i love this scene and the song. the song perfectly fits to the scene. also love the soundtrack starting at the end of the vid (Cradle of Filth - Her ghost in the fog). Even the title of the song fits into that chapter ;)
