I am having a fabulous Monday night, thanks. I like your philosophy, even if it is just a wee bit harder than you (or maybe I) think. Thanks, DaveyWavey. I personally have always taken comfort in knowing that the world always changes for the better. My own personal creed.."Compassion, empathy and tolerance all further the progression of humanity." We all choose to either be closed with negativity or open with positivity to the world and one another. Personal insecurities are the true root of negativity in life. Applying my personal creed to myself and with others strengthens me against the negativity of those insecurities.

Life throws a bunch of randomness at us. From the parent's we're born to, to the geography we grow up in, to the neighbor's apartment fire that destroys OUR stuff, many-many things are totally out of our control.

The lesson to be learned is, while we can't control the crapolla nature or others throw at us, WE CAN CONTROL how we react to and deal with it. We can accept the randomness and choose to react in a positive fashion, and be happier. Or not, and be more miserable. It's OUR choice.
