Lupin/Thewlis was so very, very underused. Lupin and Tonks had this amazing sub-plot that was barely used, if at all in the movies. And really, Lupin should have looked the way he did in the later movies the whole time. That weird mustache was weird.

Seriously though. Lupin was an amazing character who didn't get nearly as much love as he deserved in the movies. But what's done is done.
