this made me smile soooo hard! Aw, a boy! What a find!

  • Not gonna lie, that stew looked pretty damned good.

  • Job

  • I live in Portland and they do an amazing

  • At Reed College in Eastmoreland, some students would hang out at the slops window of the dining hall (the Commons) and scrounge uneaten food from the plates of students who had meal plans. Kind of a unique experience. Dunno if they still do this, but a bit like dumpster diving.

p.s. I once got a laptop computer, refrigerator and an espresso maker on one dive expedition!

  • Never mind food , I found a perfectly good DeWalt drill (complete kit actually) in the dumpster yesterday . I find many useful things , my neighbours have money to burn I guess . They can't just give stuff away ? Or sell it ?

  • OMG hahahahha that sweater and sleeve

  • LOVEIT-3

  • Is portland really this wierd

  • You might like this /watch?v=frid-P7FrI4

  • I used to live in Ann Arbor and I had the weirdest experience with a dumpster diver. In AA, most housing leases end on August 15th, so apparently it's a good time to find clothes and household stuff. So I caught this girl going through my apartment house's dumpster and I asked her if she was interested in this electric blanket BEFORE I put it in the trash...and she looked at ME like I was strange and said NO! Of course it was gone later, but I've no clue why she had to act like I was an asshole.

  • @jadenaturals She was angry at you because it is an ELECTRIC blanket and not one powered by the user's sense of self-worth. Also, that blanket was likely not organic enough or green enough for her. HOW DARE YOU OFFER IT TO HER! =D

  • @skiptracer62 Or maybe it's because she doesn't have electricity?

  • hahahahaa "She LIkes Things"

    funny stuff

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • lol the message at the end.....exactly what it what it comes down too...

  • When I first moved to Portland and was woken up by dumpster divers at 6 am I complained to my landlords about it and they were like, 'Oh, that's just what people do here, you have to deal with it.' and that was in Beaverton, one of the nicer suburbs. Very weird place, but I still miss a lot of it.

  • @mermaidofsuburbia haha, In other parts of the country you just have to worry about raccoons breaking into your trash cans. I guess someone needs to make human proof trash cans for the Oregon market

  • awwwwww! awwwww!

  • My ex was a dumpster diver. I never went with him but I trusted most of what he found.

    This show is amazing!

  • Actually there is a legit subculture that does this-US does throw out tons of perfectly good stuff, just check out restaurant dumpsters, supermarkets.it's ridiculous

  • @PtAltmVansanTarr Yes, I saw Andrew Zimmern (Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern The Travel Channel) do a show on it. I think it took place in Seattle and they feed the homeless. But, this is hilarious!! I love this show!!

  • she likes things.

  • awww!

  • If boys like that are in dumpsters im going diving asap

  • HAHAHAAHHA this makes my life :D

funny story, so me and my best friend were down town and we walked by this store quoting portlandia & we were like "aaawww" and this girl is like "hey, isnt that from portlandia?" and were like "chyeah braaa" and yeah.. 0-0

  • @snugglemuffin7 what?! ugh It's OVER!

  • @skiptracer62 i...i don't understand?

  • @snugglemuffin7 I was making fun of you for using Portlandia references. I guess you don't remember or saw the skit about the dude that says "it's over" whenever he sees someone he considers uncool doing the things he does? just search Portlandia - it's over!

I wasn't being mean with my comment...I just thought you'd get it and chuckle. oh well.

  • @skiptracer62 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, now i feel dumbb. hahaha no worries bro.........i'll definitley look that up :D

  • That bread scene is the best. Glad to see Fred does his own stunts!

  • I think those Harijuku Girls are the ones who threw the Johnny Depp look-a-like away. Apparently he needs to think about what he is...

  • @soytufavorita He was supposed to be a Johnny Depp look-a-like? I didn't know what they were making fun of with his character. He actually looked a lot like a person I knew in my college dorm.

  • @skiptracer62 Its from the Harijuku Girls clip. That same kid in the dumpster was a Johnny Depp "look-a-like" and the girls got mad at him. And he was told to think about what he is. Haha.

  • @skiptracer62 It's who he played in the Harijuku Girls clip...

  • wtf who will put a boy in the dumpster

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE BREAD PART MADE ME LAUGH SOO HARD XDDDD I LOVE THE DUDE WHO WAS IN THE DUMPSTER!! XD

  • Look baby food, we can use it as a sauce.

  • o-oh, o-oh.

  • I like the way he laughs after he says "where are we not supposed to be"

  • "Who would throw something like this away?"
