I feel bad for Cassi. It's not so much that she's young, but she's not had the best upbringing, as opposed to Clare. They're both the same age, but they differ so much in maturity because Clare seems to have had a very supportive family and stable life. Cassi, at the time of this show, was sixteen and living with a much older boyfriend, her mother left her and moved to the other side of the world, and she's smoked since she was ten years old. Her behaviors heinous, but i feel sorry for her too.

Alice and Cassie are girls that should never have had to show up at this shows doorstep at all.The London agents are telling us they could have walked into any major agency in AU and been signed on the spot.If a girl with an exceptional look for high fashion shows up at this shows auditions,there is a catch.Alice had not overcome her own awkwardness about her height and had not been able to assert herself.Cassie had a very difficult upbringing and came to the show with a poor self image.

On other Ntm shows, girls got themselves eliminated immediately just for being unsure whether they want to be there. Cassi stated several times, that she wants to go home, loud and clear. And there are lots of other reasons to kick her out. I just hate how they drag her along cause she makes good TV, thereby boosting her confidence.

@martinishot Sorry, I don't like it when an attention-seeking, aggressive, childish, inconsistent and (self-)destructive person gets rewarded for creating drama on a popular TV show. And I do think it's very different to Alice's case, cause she didn't make a fuss about herself or others on the show, and especially never bullied or threatened anyone. I'm not saying that Cassi doesn't have model potential. What angers me is the producer's inconsequence about her behaviour and statements on show.

Jordon and Steph did not share that view,describing Alice as constantly wingeing.Only difference was what they saw from Alice rarely made it to air.Reading cycle 3 articles and message board comments from early/mid 2007 would do many including yourself some good.Those opinions will read VERY differently from after Alices hugely successfull NY fashion week when suddenly any negative comments started getting thumbs down here.

@martinishot Surely you have a point there, and I am fully aware that what is shown about the girls is selective and made to portrait characters in a certain way. But regarding what comes across of Cassi's personality & attitude, I don't think it is right to keep her on the show. All Ntm shows keep on stressing how important "wanting to be there" is, so I think is unfair to keep someone who repeats saying she doesn't in. That was my point. Also, I think that bad behaviour should not be rewarded.

But even if I pity her it doesn't excuse the way she's behaved, and doesn't change my opinion she shouldn't be dragged along for drama, even for her own sake, cause lots of people will define her for how she was on the show.

All the Ntm shows do that, of course, but Ausntm has a special history of not reacting to or even rewarding nonsocial behaviour on the show (esp. Demelza, but several other cases in previous cycles too). Therefore, to see how the whole Cassi-case is handled here just upsets me.
